To add to my previous comments, you mentioned you are in a Bible study. We joined a new church last year that has many activities and I’m in. Senior ladies group that meets once a month for devotional and a pot luck lunch. I am beginning a Bible study on Monday nights, and we are doing a study on prayer. Maizie is adorable. Thanks for sharing.

Macy is a cutie, and rescue dogs are the sweetest. I have had two and both were so sweet.

It’s interesting to watch your videos and learn how much we have in common. I am Gram to my four grandchildren. They are all grown but none of them are married yet. I love making soup and cornbread. I like to fry my cornbread in the cast iron skillet on top of the stove. Buttermilk corn bread is the best. The soup looks delicious. You are so right about the weather in Mississippi. We just had a big snow followed by extremely cold weather. I’m ready for spring to get out into my garden. I have a little dog that I take for walks too. I have only had him for a few months because I had a miniature poodle who was 15, blind, and became very sick, so I had to have him put down in the spring of 2024. My current dog is a Maltese mix and full of energy.

Enjoyed your video. Soup looks delicious and nutritious too. What a pretty smile too. Always wonderful to have such a sweet fur baby. Our local public library offers free weekly chair yoga classes. Our County Extension Office also has free fun workshops they offer throughout the year too for community from craft to nutritional information and gardening. Love from Ky.

You're inspiring, Carolyn! I've never had cornbread hoe cakes but look forward to trying them out. I make a batch of cornbread, and it's too much for one person to eat in a couple of days.

@@inquiringmind2852 I really call them cornbread pancakes, but it’s all same. I cook a batch put it the freezer to take out one at a time time. Put it toaster oven and just like fresh cooked.

We shop at Kroger also and use digital coupons and paper coupons and are big fans of all their reduced areas, meat, bakery, deli, produce, bagged salads. Our store also has aisle 10 with reductions on non perishable items. We accumulate gas points when they have 4 times points on gift cards for places like Subway or Home Depot where we know we will spend money anyway. Carole
