Good Evening, I'm Margaret from South Portland, Maine , and another southern having grown up in Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm 82 yrs old almost 83 and living by myself except with my dog Precious, a little terrier mix almost 10 yrs old. She and I also take walks every day. We do have snow on the ground now, so Precious only wanted a short walk today. She actually stopped playing in the snow with sticks and started walking very properly to the car, first time she's ever done that. I have to wear long tights under my jeans outside to keep warm and comfortable. I love to play with fabric and belong to a quilt guild. Right now I am making a jelly roll rug. Precious and I walk at the beautiful Fort Williams Park, a world famous historical fort and beautiful lighthouse which is about a mile from my house in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It is right on the Casco Bay. I enjoy your videos and would love to know what you did before retiring and where you worked. I worked in the public library system in Connecticut. Thank you for your interesting videos. Well done !

Thank you for joining and your comment. Im a retired RN from hospital, also worked as a licensed insurance agent with NY Life, and opened a cupcake shop after retirement. After I closed it to take care of my mother I worked pt time at Chico’s and coordinated many style shows in our area .

The crockpot meal looks amazing, I have been wanting to make a pot roast recently so this was my sign. I am in Melbourne, Florida and although our temperature of 50-60 is higher than yours, it still feels pretty cold. 🥶 i am ready for spring!

Yummmy :) because I cant eat much protein or sodium....I'd add more veggies, low sodium dry brown gravy....I'd probably have enough for two weeks of 'meant' meals!!! I only have one kidney functioning at 20% so I focus on a plant based diet, but do love beef every once in a while!!! Sending you a Smile, thank you for yours.

Thank you. I also use minimal salt to keep blood pressure down and I have vertigo problems. I could have cut this little 11/4 lb roast in half and put half in the freezer for later and added more veggies.

Here in California we are praying for rain this weekend!Uh oh Im a vegetarian.......except....lol.....I love sausage! Oh Widowed I love my stir fries with Golden mushroom soup.I adore cooking in my crockpot!They say the dogs paws are the first to freeze!

My sister is camping down n Gulf Shores through the winter. She is from North Mississippi where I live. They got 8 inches of snow Tuesday and Wednesday this week. She went South to find warmer weather. Well, you can’t predict the weather ahead of time.
