None of the videos explain that if you want to do it with an oem cabin filter the arrow have to point up.

Every filter I've installed has an arrow and it tells you to point in the direction of air flow

Yes but those are aftermarket ones im talking about the stock, oem, original ac filter .

The arrow in that one doesn't mean the direction of the airflow its to let you know how to put it i just did mine in the dealership and i was gonna put it with the arrow pointing down and they told me thats only for the aftermarket ones not the original.

Just make it short. Arrows pointed up or down when installed.
