Aaron and Emily, you truly epitomize the meaning of the new-age "power couple" by what you do AND how you do it! And the pooch definitely adds the family touch. I've always maintained the creed "work hard, play harder". And you guys do a great job of showing regular folks that you don't need million$ to live richly. With love, faith, discipline, common sense, and a cooperative work ethic, all this is possible for anyone! As a avid lover of boats, airplanes, motorcycles, travel, and simple but great cuisine, I really identify with the exuberant spirit of joy and camaraderie you guys exemplify. Much love, respect, and admiration to both of you from a brutha in the Windy City! May GOD always bless you!! 😃 🙏

You two are a really neat and wholesome couple, and it makes me smile to watch the two of you. My wife and I, before she passed, did a lot of camping in California when we were hunting for gold. Camped in a trailer or two and one or two different motorhomes over the years. You two remind me of the two of us, and I thank you for that. Continue to have fun together, and spend as much time as you can doing what you are doing. It seems to complement both of you as individuals, as well as a couple. Continue to have fun....

Hey Aaron earlier you said that you were going to put some poles in the trailer well I got a cheap way to do this by yourself a 10 foot section a PVC pipe cut it down into about 2 inches. Never mind you you’re buying a 2 inch piece of PVC you’re cutting them into inches you drill a hole through the whole piece of PVC pipe that you cut already mounted into the trailer then sticky rods through the holes of the PVC pipe. Worked great for garage is holes whatever it wasn’t my idea I saw it on KZbin.

Love the boat vids. Such a great deal! Two safety issues to consider. Grill on the port side away from the gas fill Also if the boat doesn’t have a dedicated propane locker on the outside find somewhere outside to store them. Propane is heavier than air and if leaks will fall into the bilge and a spark from the pumps etc could cause an explosion. Also an anchor wash down system will pull in sea water for a wash down. Great if anchored in muddy waters. Happy Boating!!

Thanks! It needed to be said, I live on a lake connected to Lake Michigan (actually, grew up here too!). Have seen the results of a propane explosions! They also make a brass cap, with a gasket, to secure those bottles a bit better. Just extra insurance... Great content! Enjoy that water...

Love watching your videos. I've had the same type boat grill on my boats for years so a few suggestions; 1) store the propane tank outside the cabin properly 2) be very aware of your fume situation when using it - not near fuel filler caps or blowers, always out over the water, never in place when moving 3) pork tenderloin, with that rub, needs to be done on that grill! Have fun and enjoy!

You two are still living my childhood in the Patty-Jo; my grandfathers near identical Bayliner. *I am a touch older than you two. Wow, these videos stir up the best and warmest memories of my childhood! Seeing little parts of the boat that I had forgotten about; like cleats and little molded steps we would jump from as kids, the sound of the water against the hull while inside. I have a pair of yorkies to boot! Thank you for these videos/memories!

The great part is you get the same feeling from a used nice boat than riding a new super expensive same boat , the feeling is very minimal in happiness and that’s something a lot of people don’t understand they can have what they want and doesn’t always have to come with huge price tag if you try really hard and ask the universe to help you out ! Great vids guys ! 🙏

I bought a worx battery pressure washer for my boat. You just throw the end of the hose over the side, put a battery in and you have 325 psi of cleaning power. Just enough to clean the boat and you can add cleaner to it. Small so it fits under a seat.

I grew up on a lake... boating most of my younger years to my late 20's. Sadly, the boat bit the dust after 23 memorable years, and I just decided to leave the boating world. Fast forward to 2021... 50 yrs old.. and I suddenly got the boat bug back in my head. I randomly came across your channel, and I am in love with boating again! I have my eye on a couple of cabin cruisers.. Thank you for the videos fully loaded with positivity!! Keep up the great work!! :)

I attached a bilge pump on my trim tap then hose clamp a 3 in piece of the male end of a old water hose. Then got a cheep flex garden hose. Installed a outdoor toggle switch on the transom ran wires up the trough hull with the trim tab line silicone it in. Just reach down screw hose on flip switch clean up the bugs and there you go. I also have a blue moth light with a trap it helps too. Love the show. Keep it up 👍

Get some solar panels. I currently have a O’day 25’ sailboat with a single 100 amp hour battery. We can stay on our boat for days without running the motor. Plus adding a solar charge controller usually gives you a couple usb outlets and they have a setting that stops drawing power from your battery if it gets too low. We are gonna get a cabin cruiser next year and I plan on setting up solar

Loved the video, and it is giving me motivation to resume work on my 8th boat, a relative of yours: Bayliner 2755 (it's a 1989, though). I, too, picked up a Bravo III sterndrive on CraigsList. And while I understand your immediate enthusiasm for the twin engine Sea Ray, my experience is that double the engines is quadruple the work. Having them dialed in, just right, to each other, is difficult, and the space is very cramped to work in. Also, there is not a great deal of size difference to make it worthwhile (I learned that lesson. Twice.). Your boat is a great ride, and is very well-equipped! Happy boating, and love the channel!

Bless you folks . I'm so glad you ignored the old saw that proclaims the Bayliner is junk. This is an example of false advertising. The Bayliner badge is NOT for the first owner . The ones that are advertised at a much lower price are not problem free they are just meant to be owned by experienced Because you must be "BOAT SAVVY" to own and enjoy the benefits of a more affordable boat like the Bayliner. It is not a "Plug and Play" piece of equipment. It takes a little of knowledge and mechanical aptitude and most of all a lot of love and support and your running right along with the " BIG GUYS". Have fun !

When just picking someone up from a dock or pier, consider backing into the dock. This allows them to step on without as much wave bounce and with maximum prop control of aft. You can pin the boat against the dock with fedders as buffer for more control.

That looked like a fun time on the water in your new (new to you anyway) boat. The grille and cutting boards seemed like they did their jobs well. It’s unfortunate that the bugs decided to horn in on your meal, but at least you got the chance to use them. We have a 2019 Ford F-450 Limited and use it to pull our 43 foot Fifth Wheel RV, whenever we can get the chance to get away for some relaxing time. We love (at least I do anyway) using that beast to do whatever and even take it on short 200+ road trips because it’s actually more quiet than my wife’s smaller SUV is. You may want to consider gettting one of those silicone skillet lids to catch/control the grease spattering everywhere when cooking inside. Looking forward to more videos of your adventures with your new toy.

I fell off a ladder with a chainsaw, broke six ribs, broke my right shoulder blade, and broke my pelvis in two places. I'm almost 75, the boat has been docked under cover at Lake Barkley Marina near Cadiz, KY since I had it winterized and I haven't been down to it since last fall when I installed the new batteries. The OAL of the boat is almost 30 feet, (29' 9") and it has an 11-foot beam. Very roomy.

You guys will use the grill on land at least as often as on water, so make a pipe/tubing adapter for the the existing mounting hardware that can be exchanged easily... maybe weld a pipe to a piece of square tube steel that fits into a truck/car's tow hitch.. perhaps a plate that fits into the center axle hole of a car rim, or the wheel lug pattern as a heavy base. The broccoli and asparagus will both grill really well without steaming in the foil, just toss them in oil and season with salt, pepper, maybe lemon and garlic seasonings as you like,.. Grill ON the grates keeping a piece of foil so you can put the florets side or thinner parts of asparagus away from heat so they cook evenly. just get the stalks to show some blistering, 4-6 mins is enough, even less time if you let them rest after cooking ! Do yourself a favor on dinner and cook some whole extra potatoes, onions and jalapenos wrapped in foil, they can be cooked after main dish, and left on shut down dinner fire to be used for breakfast hash the next AM, along with any leftovers. That rub you blended would have been really good on the veggies too I'm sure ! Next time maybe ? Since I know you're a fan, maybe do a YT collab with DMFD to get some really good boating experience and tips before you go to the Bahamas ? I'd bet Robert and Sarah would love to visit you in TX, can your plane manage 3 or more ? They've got a big house in Jupiter, FL. They could really teach you a lot in the KZbin business !

I tend to watch how-to videos on KZbin, as well as camping and drone videos since that is what we do, but I stumbled across this one and found fantastic people as well as how-to stuff. I would suggest an electric tongue jack to save time and effort hooking up.

You really have that loading and unloading down pat, that was slick. Don't forget to close the portholes every time you move the boat because it will be the one time you don't that you ruin the interior.

If you install a Raw water or wash down pump run hoses to the galley and anchor as well as the stern.

A trick to that new grill is you can remove that round metal thing that sits down inside over the burner and then you have a regular burner like a gas stove, and you can fry/cook things in pots on it.

The boat is a good deal, but the $75K truck to tow it is formidable (grin). Loved it, love you guys.

I know I'm 2 years behind, so I hope you get around to seeing this. And, if someone already mentioned it, I apologize. When cooking meat, don't use a fork to turn it, use tongs. Love these videos.

Some people hook a safety chain that you attached to the ratchet bracket and a clip on the other end to hook to the boat up front because if the boat comes on hook, there’s nothing stopping that boat going backwards
