That's why the are called Stealerships after warranty. I just had my inspection done last month and they wanted to do everything in the world including engine and cabin air filter. I checked my engine air filter and it didn't look anything like the picture they showed me much less the picture of the air filter they showed me I could tell was on a different vehicle other than mine. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a crappy air filter laying around that they use to show customers or just a picture of a crappy air filter.

Good video - simplest cabin filter to change on any car I have owned - also I used a FRAM cabin filter - it dropped right into place without having to manipulate the ends. Also did the engine air filter - 10 mins for both jobs

Acura Mission Viejo quoted $300 for new engine and cabin filters! I bought both of them on eBay for $40, OEM, authentic parts. Do it yourself and stop getting ripped off!

Thanks for the video but the filter you pulled out was perfectly fine. Most i do are black and have junk in them. Waste of $.

@@stuffyoucando2 Thanks for the informative video. The WIX XP # 24815 seems to be the best cabin filter that's available at this time. The WIX XP Cabin Filter's recommended change interval is ONE YEAR.

@@SlikLizrd I think one year is probably reasonable and lines up fairly well with what Acura recommends for mileage for the average driver. Wix are definitely good filters, I like Purolator as well. Regardless, you can afford to by whatever brand filter you like when you do yourself, you’ll still save plenty of money over what the dealer charges to change this. Thanks for watching!
