I'm up at the cabin with my Dad and my dog. We do some axe throwing, install something to the front of the off grid cabin, cook food on the fire, plant trees and more.. Subscribe if you enjoyed the episode!

I lost my dad about 10 years ago at the too young age of 63. Watching you and your father have your adventures and banter reminded me of the past good times I had, and to always be grateful and cherish these times. Thank you for sharing with us.

I started watching you and your dad on TA fishing, and although I wouldn’t class myself as a ‘Woodsman’ love watching you two on this as well. The sharing of knowledge between you is one thing, but the sharing of laughter between you both is something else, it’s great to see and your father / son relationship is fantastic to watch and should be a guide to all dads.

If your not put off by the idea Mike , using your own pee diluted about 100ml to a litre of water is exceptional as a natural source of nitrogen , which is what plants need loads of in their initial growth period. Use it anytime after whatever's growing has poked out a couple of inches and it's ok to keep a bottle in the shade somewhere for a couple of weeks. I have been using it myself for a few years now especially on plants with a lot of leaf and foliage and things like cucumbers and rhubarb. I did a side by side growing white cabbages against a popular bottled nitrogen nutrient from the gardening centre and the ones I used my pee solution on outgrew the others by almost three times. Your Dad almost certainly knows about but I thought I'd mention it as , free and easy to find . Take care mate.

Love your channel! So much informative content! Do you know of anyone who has made a video about what to bring for your dog? We all hear pack light, only essentials, etc..but what about the dog? Unless you're planning on sharing your steak n potatoes, they will need their food, certain first aid items that are specific for dogs and depending on breed, they might also need their own jacket for the cool nights. All that can add weight to an already heavy pack. Cheers!
