Garden bush saw folding in carry all the time. They hurt like hell if you catch skin do you soon stop. An axe ???? Most people are too stupid to use one safely, I would never bother to take one.

Condom can be used to keep things dry, loose water tablets, matches, tinder, batteries, just tie the open end in a knot great especially if you have to cross deep water!

@MensMentalHealthMattersAP20 сағат бұрын
The only problem having a fire in an hole is that roots can catch fire and fire can spread underground as you found out this before when you have to report a fire to the fire brigade which wasn't your fire.

Not too keen on hounds for hunting animals either. I am very much pro-hunting, especially here in the US where we've effectively killed off all the predators which manage prey populations. I also live not far from a rural area where coyote population management is a requirement. I've wanted a hot tent for years thanks to you. I need a slightly larger one than this because I'll be camping with my son, who's substantially larger than Jax.

I love listening to your pops talk. Aside from the fact that he's brilliant, the older generation British accent is lovely to hear as an American. I've never done beach fishing like that, only ever fished in the ocean off a boat. Otherwise it's all lakes, rivers and creeks. Bass can be good eating.

Not what I would have expected, but still one of the best and most informative vids I've seen ever! Moved from the UK to New Zealand in 2015 and through working for a National Power provider I often end up being involved with emergency situations. First time I've heard about what3words! I shall be pushing it here in the North Island if it's not already being used! Game changer, many many thanks.

You really don’t want to use your knife to split wood as depicted in this video if you can avoid it. It is a great way to damage the knife and that’s the last thing you want happening in a survival situation.
@andreashauschild7757Күн бұрын
You are using the wire saw wrong. use a longer piece of wood and use the saw wire like a bow. This way you can control it better.

This is a really bad idea. If you find a dead, fallen tree, it would be really tempting to build your shelter therebut it could break at any time. Take this from experience.

Nice to see a fire starter that works! Too bad it wasn’t a bright color to make it easier to find if dropped. Do you have plans to build and sell your own branded survival kits?

I really envy you on being able to spend time with your dad (and Jax too). My dad has been gone for about 5years now. He loved to fish. He once caught some trout out of one of the creeks here in West Virginia and it had to be the best fish I’ve ever ate. Love your videos!!

We see a lot of media following police and ambulance services, and the great jobs they do. But very little following fire services. This is a great example of the often unseen work of our 3rd emergency service that not many get to see. Thanks for recording their work for us all to see!

Thanks for sharing. Great traditional camping experience. The tarp, the stove, the cast iron, and the fero rod apperatice work very well. It is funny that you are on a high protein diet to gain weight. I’m on high protein (Keto) diet to lose weight. It’s hard leaving carbs and sugar out of my diet. I wake up in the middle of the night dreaming of frosted donuts with sprinkles 😂😁. I also work out 2-3 hours a day 4-5 days a week. I lost 15-20 pounds and added two holes to my belt so it would fit. Now, after around 15 weeks of the diet, I have actually gained more weight than I lost…… but I am still using my new belt holes to keep my pants up. I think that is pretty good for a 62 year old fart 🤣😅. Enjoyed your video.
