Maybe Frankie found a girlfriend and made little Frankies😊. If you are still considering a possible place in N.C, VA., or TN, you have probably heard that our landscape has changed. I had a weekend getaway at Lake Lure. You may recall I invited you , Lori, and tge dogs down to get some r&r when you were recovering. Unfortunately a 24' high wall of water came down from the dam and washed away my camp😢. Good news is, we weren't there when it happened. There is a lot of land going up for sale in the Blue Ridge region. The water level was 12' higher than the FEMA 100 year flood plane that was mandated 3 years ago. My getaway was still 4' higher than that 100 year elevation. This storm bought the water up an astonishing 12' above that !! The only plus is, as a builder they are calling this a 1,000 year flood. Rivers that were once 40' wide are now carved to 200' wide. So they now how a conduit for future floods. I turned 63 this year, and you are spot on about the aging. God bless you and Lori Glenn

Not long after our dog Sammy passed away, I was working in my shop in the laundry room tie dying some shirts for an upcoming festival. I left my work to grab something to drink from the fridge and when I came back there was a piece of kibble in the middle of where I was standing. Now I've mopped this floor many times since he passed away and I know it wasn't there previously. Well I happened to be doing a lot of hearts that day, and wouldn't you know it - every single one had a dog face right in the middle of the heart. ❤ The way these are done, I have no control over what the dye does. So it's not like I could replicate it even if I tried. It's all the way the dye struck on the fabric. Pretty cool 😎

Frankie's spirit never left🐾💔💖Said goodbye to my boy last summer at vet. His mate started crying when I walked in alone, cried 3 wks & stopped eating, thought I'd lose her too. 1st night I opened bedroom door & there he was sitting at foot of bed waiting for me. I said hey boy, turned around walked out, did double take & when I looked back he was gone. She never took his spot in bed. Every night as I dozed off, a heaviness quietly landed beside me & snuggled up against my back, where he'd slept 13 yrs. Every morning duvet smushed down from weight of body shedding tan fur. Mate black border collie & he was tan american staffie, together again as of 2 wks ago. Even though bed now silently free, my shepherd stays in his bed on floor, as if they're both still sleeping beside me... Love never truly leaves us🐾❤
