You should make a 4 season green house so you can grow Fresh vegtables even in Winter time. Solar energy can supply the right heat to make the veggies grow, and also a Sprinkler system added in would make it a good thing to have

I watch all your videos on the solar power system if you kept your 100 watts system and charge controller and hooked the charge controllers in parallel it would have given you 570 watts at no extra cost, I recently got 800 watts of solar panels and the 200 watts I had gives me 1000 watts , I'm new to this and live in northern Canada so far I just hooked up 400 watts I'm so new at this I'm hoping the sun comes up tomorrow, I've got 5 charge controllers to be hooked up in parallel, Very interesting thanks for making the videos.

Was a awesome life back in the day.
@NB886 жыл бұрын
You're right, they're not a lot of work per se, what I meant was a lot of work for me keeping them at a remote location, especially in the winter. And when I'm at the cabin, I have so many other things to do. I miss having them around though, and the fresh eggs.

How did you insulate under the cabin?
@NB886 жыл бұрын
Andy Parisi I didn't. 3/4 " plywood on the floor joists, 2 layers of poly then 1" pine floor boards. The floors are never cold as long as a fire is on.
@andyparstino72806 жыл бұрын
Same here we have not yet insulated ours, I have the same floor as you.
@NB886 жыл бұрын
Edup12 it's always a good idea to keep your cabin a bit off the ground for air flow. This keeps it dry and you don't get rot. My porch is a little higher than the rest because of the grade of the land.
@stevemitchell22526 жыл бұрын
The Outhouse thing I think is a little outdated.. because if you have to go poop in the middle of the night in the middle of the winter when it's freezing cold.. who's going to want to do that when you can have a nice composting toilet in the cabin..
