Hello I love this tutorial! Did you give the details on the refrigerator?

How do you secure the top counter top to the metal overhangs?
@GoldenKeyDesign9 ай бұрын
We used a heavy duty adhesive

Nice white quartz would look great… ps: are you guys keeping the wood tongue and groove down there??
@GoldenKeyDesign Жыл бұрын
I think we have similar taste haha! And we are going to keep the tongue and groove walls. It is a lake house so it fits the vibe of the place and it would take a lot of time and money to replace it all

the fridge does not look like an under-counter (don't see any vents under it), did you face any issues with heat dissipation?
@nolj67 Жыл бұрын
I think the same countertop you did for the kitchen island would be nice.

Good idea! And now I have a track saw to make my life a lot easier haha!

Believe me I want to haha! After the floating bed video, I got a lot of flack from viewers saying it was annoying, especially for those using headphones. I kinda phased it out but will give a nod to it here and there for my OG viewers like you haha! Maybe I’ll bring it back in the future 🤔

Not sure of your location but we had pvc glue in the 80’s. 😂

😂 I was very confused too

You should of put a outlet facing the other way where the chairs going to be so people can charge their phones. But behind the bar works fine as well nice work man!!
@GoldenKeyDesign Жыл бұрын
That's a good idea! I figured they can reach over the bar top to plug them in if needed but it would be easier on the front side

What material dis you use for the battens?
@GoldenKeyDesign Жыл бұрын
I ripped some 1x6s to 1.5" wide strips

Just FYI, one needs to install an arc shield with that receptacle when you're extending a device beyond the wall, especially coming out into combustible material.

How far apart are your cabinets from one another? Trying to figure out a good distance

Okay cool, so this video answered questions I had from other videos. I'd love to know how the high counter is held in.
@GoldenKeyDesign Жыл бұрын
The lower countertop is 36” high which is standard counter height and the higher countertop is 42” which standard bar height. Hope that helps!
@DerekTJ Жыл бұрын
@Golden Key Design great! Is the upper counter screwed to the black metal brackets?
@GoldenKeyDesign Жыл бұрын
@@DerekTJ No, it's not a good idea to screw into quartzite so its just glued using silicone and the weight of the countertop itself is heavy enough to keep it in place
@DerekTJ Жыл бұрын
@@GoldenKeyDesign Gotcha.

You just need a gfci outlet at the beginning of the circuit. You don’t need two on the bar.

I built them myself from plywood - check out the earlier episodes in this bar build series
