I am shaking with excitement watching this video for my most anticipated ML of the year. Just wish the video was even longer. The chest harness need to sit a little lower. The legs are a little small, but not a deal breaker. Can't wait to get him! Thanks for the vid!

Your Cable has some QC. Unless they changed it on the final product, the crotch piece is supposed to have blue paint on the sides. 5:39 This head could also be a good unhelmeted Stryfe head.

It doesn't bug me, but yes, the paint is skimmed on. My copy is a regular release, not a production sample. I bought another case for a friend, and Cable is likewise missing the blue paint apps on the side of his pants

This was a design decision made after the initial reveal - I read about it a couple weeks ago. I know the cut is supposed to be higher but the method they used to achieve it looked poor in my opinion. I am happy with the change.

This will be the first Marvel Legends Cable that I keep. I’ve sold off every other one I’ve ever had, because I’ve never been a big fan of his more popular looks, but this version really appeals to me for some reason. Like you, I prefer the brighter colors, and the details in the uniform seem a lot cleaner and less exaggerated.

Finally a review! My only complain is that the calf should've been cast all yellow, when you bent the knees the kneepad separates from the painted area leaving a gap in blue. I don't know why they chose it that way, well they knew we'll buy it anyways. Can't wait for mine!

I have watched your video a few times, don’t see if I commented. I am excited for this guy. I do think his colors are too bright for me, which I’ll remedy. I never played Marvel vs. Capcom and didn’t care for this similar suit in the comics back in the 90s. I’m going to dull down the colors, mustard yellow and browns rather than the bright lemon. I may even do a boot swap. I am very excited for this figure, despite my customization plans.

Also wish they cast the knee down yellow, bc with the knee bent the break in the yellow boot is a bad choice. I wish they would’ve made his right arm sleeveless like the picture on the back of the box. Would’ve been 10X better. Found a hack using a Hercules figure. If I find a Hercules for cheap I’ll customize it myself. Otherwise solid looking figure!

Not bad looking. Not amazing but decent work from hasbro. Best cable head at least from Hasbro so far. Looks decent overall. Still a reuse of the Hercules body. Its a decent bodysculpt. Sizing is ok since the blue jellow version/capcom version of cable also sometimes looks a bit smaller in the game or comics then his supposed to be 6'8" 350lbs the character should be.

Cable here is not 'top heavey' if he matches the aethstetic of Marvel Versus Capcom 2. That was the primary goal! I had the previous Cable. (And Domino). But the plastic poured was terrible and every sprew place was ringed out like the inside of a tree!! I returned them to Target or Walgreens, wherever it was. I was so happy so have found them. Then SO disappointed. Does this new version of Cable have a good finish, or is he marbled or something?

Off topic: I draw. And I wonder what you guys think, if you draw, is the best action figure to model for me if I'm looking for muscular, mostly realistic, context. Like, I do not want to spend $100. @@Abbotttdesign haha there's nothing natural looking about that seam. Ka-Zar's proportions are great and with the lean muscle sculpting. That's why I'd recommend it as a good barebones figure for drawing, if u can ignore the seam. But he's due so much other stuff like necklace & straps etc
