Here's what people are forgetting. Loki is outside of time. He already knows what has happened, what is currently happening, and what needs to happen in the future. He will ALWAYS end up back where he's at. Just like He Who Remains. Loki will know of Doom's plans. I feel like The God of Mischief Loki will outplay Doom in the End. In the 80's secret wars comic, doom was defeated. The F4 rebuilt the multiverse, doom was then on earth 616, with a "restored face," symbolizing a new start. In the 2015 secret wars, doom and molecule man were essentially trying to save the multiverse. I honeslty believe the MCU's form of Molecule Man is the time bombs we saw being used by Mr. Paradox. Because in the 2015 Secret Wars, the beyonders set up multiversal molecule men to essentially blow up to destroy that timeline/universe. I think Doom is on a Mission to "help" the multiverse, but the power gets to his head. But i could be wrong!

However, I've said (and seen on social media) that if they make this* Loki lose/be killed so easily, it'll be the worst thing imo. Most likely they wont kill loki. I think Doom will want to take the throne that loki sits in and steal his powers. That is the only spot where Doom can sit and create the Battleworld. Most likely they will kill off thor and loki wont get to meet him. Loki will probably get defeated by Doom at the end. Maybe after that in secret war loki will assemble his multiversal team to fight against Doom. Doom isnt a maniac who kills off people. He is very precise and calculative. His objective is to regain power and create battleworld because he think by taking power is the only way to save the multiverse. And remember loki is "God of stories. " and in the comics Doom becomes " God emperor Doom. " Thats why I think Doom will fight Loki and earn his title of " God emperor " by defeating Loki. This can go many ways. Maybe Doom will steal Loki's powers after most probably defeating him. Or challenege him for the throne at the end of time. He will most likely torture O.B and learn about time slipping. I think Kang will be in the movie. Like loki talked with kang, he slips in time and talks to HWR in thr citadel and that's where they make "The partnership " from comic book. Then follows Loki's footsteps to the end of time. Challenges him and defeats him. Sits in the throne loki sits in as he sees the multiverse dying and creates the Battleworld out of mercy. Loki escapes somehow. I think this is the best way to get things right

I think that doomsday should end with the heroes losing, dr. Doom taking out loki which results in the multiverse being destroyed. Loki would eventually be back for secret wars. I’m not feeling it. Kinda disappointed at marvel over all this. Before we had infinity war and end game we had 2 avengers movies that build up to them. Now it just feels rushed and people are 50/50 about doom. KANG still should be the villain. After years of building him they should have kept going. People would have been happy and proud of Disney if they kept majors. Now they’re rushing one of the greatest villains of all time because they didn’t want to give a black man a second chance. Because RDJ wont be Doom forever, and how they said he IS Victor, i honestly feel like theyre going to introduce in a flashback, that in the F4 universe Doom and Tony were room mates, thats why he isnt mentioned in the film, we dont see Dooms Face (so it could be the eventual actor to play him) but we do see a young Tony Stark, and he mentions theyre working on a machine together but some of the math is wrong Which ends up being a trick by Doom, switching them both so Doom can use Tonys wealth and status This is better than the whole switched at birth thing, because it gives us a Dr Doom in Starks body, and also sets up a Stark in Dr Dooms body, who will be our future Dr Doom when they switch back

What if Loki is bored just sitting there and decides to mess with Tony Stark in a timeline since he’s the reason he’s there. So he manipulates a timeline where Tony ‘s parents die with him overseas, he gets adopted or something, and eventually becomes Doom. So Loki creates his own destruction.

Imagine this is the ending we get for Secret Wars! Man that'd be epic. Though I wanna see them actully set Doom up properly and then make him go rampage on the Multiverse. I wish there was more time... You know what else would be epic? They should bring Tom Cruise and finally give us the Superior Iron Man we wanted. Then being the High Ego guy he is, he challenges Doom, who just takes him out in one blow. That'd be hilarious! Like a huge tense build up for a scene people were kinda hoping for and then just instantly killed off. Kinda like the Wolverine vs Sabertooth scene in D&W. It'd be so meta that RDJ is a better Tony than Tom Cruise no matter a hero or a viilain.

They're doing the MCU version of the Superior Spider-Man storyline but with Tony Stark instead of Peter Parker. Somehow an alternate version of Tony Stark will have his soul swapped with Dr Doom. Tony will be trapped in Doom's comatose body while Doom is running around in Tony's body and then at the end, they'll figure out how to get Tony's soul back into his own body.

It makes me speculate about the story of this Tony. What if he joined the Ten Rings in the first film and with their help ended up turning the ruler of Latveria. I do think though he needs to have the connection to magic to fight Loki. I wouldn't doubt they don't exactly fight but keep it closer to the comics with Loki taking the Molecule Man role that the multiverse is collapsing, Loki saves whatever he can to the void and that turns into Battleworld. So Loki would be holding together while Emperor God Doom manages the day to day with Dr Strange as his advisor until he is defeated by Reed who recreates the universe after talking to Loki.

With this description, I'm picturing the 90's Spider-Man cartoon Secret Wars. Just instead of Madam Web and the Beyonder playing "Chess" with the heros and villians, it's Loki and Dr. Doom. I see Doom succeding in the destruction of the Multiverse but before he does, Loki pulls heros from their universes and forms his team with the help from the Beyonder from the What If show. I think it would be interesting to see something like that. Like Doom gains access and knowledge from the Multiverse and brings together a team of familiar faced villains so that the heros have to also face their past to save the future. Could really set up somethings for future movies after Secret Wars as well

If mcu introduces a doom that's not Victor von doom, they will be repeating the same mistake Snyder made with superman. With a major character, they have GOT to introduce the original before any variation. A less than perfect superman means nothing unless there's a bemchmark set.

I agree with you Warren that Tony Stark's variant will be Victor Von Doom from the particular universe he's coming from. I believe Feige and the Russos aren't being totally clear by saying Robert Downey Jr is playing a "new" character. Technically every variant is new character even if they have a similar persona and the same name played the same actor. But hey I could be wrong.

Regardless of what happens I feel they need to show a short scene of Doctor Doom killing all of the variants of Kang the Conqueror at one time! Since they're writing that character out.
