Beautiful! Overlays are a nice touch. Amazing how noticeable footprints are out there.

Some one complained about that wiper being in the way. Actually the wiper gives a good point of foreground reference. Also, it is far enough off to the right to not spoil the view. I liked the detail reference map going thought that long tunnel and the spirals.

This video was published 2018 but it was taken much before. At the exit of the tunnel in Preda you should see the construction site of the new tunnel. See: www.rhb.ch/de/unternehmen/projekte-dossiers/neubau-albulatunnel (in german)

Why do the drivers not turn on their headlights when going through tunnels?
@ThomasHalways4 жыл бұрын
Why do not they edit out these passages, or the long stops? Example of a better set of such videos is "lorirocks" in Switzerland.
@emeraldzebra93604 жыл бұрын
They do, they are just not very bright in the sense of seeing down the tunnel. They are more for being seen not to see ahead. Plus the camera isn't set perfect

The tunnels make me nervous, but I love the scenery and the snow. How fast do these trains travel? At times it seems too fast for conditions.

The Swiss are boring, stingy, protestant peasants, who will never spend 1 cent more than strictly necessary. Very similar to the Dutch, except that Switzerland is beautiful, whereas in Holland even the landscape is totally boring.

Really nice video and great graphics. I feel sorry for those people that have to live there in all that snow and cold. I don't know how they do that. Perhaps they only live there in the summer when the weather is nice.

What's all that banging?
@MrOpenGL5 жыл бұрын
Probably the cab door
@rayshowsay17495 жыл бұрын
@@MrOpenGL The periodic loud banging I think you are talking about is caused by the wheels hitting the switch[points, in UK] frogs(the diamond piece where rail from one side crosses the other). Other noises are the ongoing ones: hum of the electrics and click of the wheels as the roll across rail joints.
@MrOpenGL5 жыл бұрын
@@rayshowsay1749 if you look at the video carefully you'll see it happens mostly in sharp curves where there are no points at all
@rayshowsay17495 жыл бұрын
@@MrOpenGL Okay, different sound: the one that only seems to begin at and past the spiral tunnels, and which is also heard on the approach to curves as well as through them. There's a similarity to a driver using the air brakes to augment the dynamic brakes for a quicker decrease in speed.
@CaptainArt7775 жыл бұрын
