Cabrinha Contra 1 Strut Ride and Review 11m

We get the new 2021 Cabrinha Contra 11m one strut on the scale and then up in the air. The new one strut may be late to the game in terms of one strut kites on the market but Cabrinha didn't miss the mark on this one. It will also be the lightest kite Cabrinha has ever produced...FACT! I heard that one-struts behave well in gusty wind because they stay up with the wind dies AND when a gust hits they don't grab the wind as much. Does that sound right to you?

Love it Phil! What is the wind range on a foil with the 11m? 9-14kts?

That is probably about right, the upper end is flexible but 9mph for the low end is right on. I didn't get to check the super light wind relaunch but if it is anything like the drifter should be good. Nice to hear from you Vincent! Hope all is well! You need to get on the Lift high Aspect if you haven't yet!!!!

@@midlerp Thanks! Do you think the 11mm has a much higher low end than 9m? I will get one from you as soon as I can travel back to the US. Definitely want to get high aspect, as well as Lift e-foil :)

I've been on the 11m for about 1 month now. I've gone out in 5-6 knots and was amazing surprised. Just dive it and your up on the foil. Still can go straight downwind with it just hanging in the air. On the tt I have been out in 22 knots. I had fully repower but it was still flyable.
