Mooie video, niet te lang, niet te kort... Vraagje, die groen-knipper-8 op de inrijder van Oud-Heeze, waar is die voor bedacht? Sneller vertrek vanaf de halte maar lagere snelheid in verband met de aankondiging van de overwegen? Ben daar verder niet bekend, dacht eerst dat je even een paar wissels mocht poetsen maar dat was het ook niet.

@@CabviewHolland Mooi stukje creatief omgaan met de mogelijkheden van het systeem dus. Dank je voor de uitleg. Ben er al even niet meer geweest, laatste keer dat ik daar was had de lijn uit Budel nog zijn eigen brug en sloot in Weert aan op dat lange kopspoor aan het begin van het emplacement (in plaats van dat aansluitwissel vlak voor de brug over het kanaal).

Hello there, 4k Cabview Holland Dutch Railways. When watching this and other videos you recently uploaded to KZbin, and by gosh, you have been busy, one can appreciate the subtle and nuanced displays throughout the videos. The top of trees swaying in the breeze while the train is stopped at a station, the movement of shadows as the train changes it's position relative to the sun as well as other examples. It's when seeing the train, via the cab view, pulling away from a station and moving at 40 or 50 kilometers per hour and then within a few seconds it accelerates to what seems 110 kph, it creates an unflattering appearance since it's so unrealistic. It doesn't reflect on the technical presentation, which are certainly the best railway digital animations I'd assume have been seen on KZbin. But that hyper jump in speed would need an acceleration force that is not capable with transport vehicles that collectively weigh hundreds of tons. To say nothing of its effect on the poor passengers. But, what the heck, you're entitled to be whimsical with your own videos. Ciao. @@CabviewHolland

Great route, Eindhoven's my favorite station! I've also been wondering what exactly a "P signal" is, because there are some marked with a P plate (which are P signals), and some without these plates. After searching for a while on wetten.nl, I think the P means that the signal allows "permissive driving" as it's called here in Germany, which means that you may pass an extinguished signal or one with an invalid combination of color lights without an order from the dispatcher, and that you may continue your ride at 40 km/h maximum(or slower, mostly depending on weather, daylight and curvature of the track) in order to stop in short of any obstacles you may encounter. Is that correct?

Ik zie dat ter hoogte van Geldrop de sporen rechts zijn opgebroken. Lagen daar meerdere perron sporen, of waren dat opstelsporen oid?

Dat was in een ver verleden een laad- en losplaats. De laatste 30 jaar hebben daar 2 wijksporen gelegen. Het 4de spoor is al 20 jaar niet meer gebruikt en het 3de spoor is al bijna 10 jaar buitendienst. De grondseinen zijn pas 4 jaar geleden gedoofd. flic.kr/p/UfAwXh
