I think it was an automated braking from the atb, that lost signal. It does not warn in such a situation with this simplified version, so no chance for the driver to prevent this braking.

🤗🥰😋 Take out your tissues for this moment of happiness 👌 The Class 23 produced in 105 copies is a standard Einheitsdampflokomotiven design locomotive which was built after the Second World War, but its development on behalf of the Deutsche Reichsbahn Gesellschaft which precedes 1939 The first series The 23,001 to 23,015 built by Henschel and Sohn between 1951 and 1952 were used by the Deutsche Bundesbahn, from 1951 in heavy passenger service, Personenzuglokomotive. The locomotives of this series of the DB remained in service until the end of December 1975. The last machine, the 23 105 built by in 1959, withdrawn in 1976 is the last locomotive in West Germany is in the town of Heilbronn South German Railway Museum. The series 23 steam locomotive belongs to the UIC type with an arrangement of wheels (2-6-2) and axles (1′C1′ h2) it has 1 carrier axle independent of the main frame, three coupled driving axles independent of the frame main frame circulating in a bogie and 1 trailing axle mounted in the main frame. The steam type is superheated steam and the locomotive has 2 cylinders with a Tender T28 Engines up to operating number 023 (like here in the video), had surface preheaters and plain bearings. Locomotives with serial numbers 024 and 025, as well as those from 053, were equipped with roller bearings for axles and transmission as well as preheating mixers and also an enclosed cab. Je kunt zeggen wat je wilt. Waren er weinig of veel mensen langs het spoor, maar ik vond het behoorlijk. Dat mensen de tijd namen om er naar toe te gaan. Volgens mij moet er ook in de regionale media een bericht hebben gestaan, dat deze stoomtrein langs zou komen. Zelfs in Ravenstein stond er iemand.

Volgens mij wordt het stil gehouden om te voorkomen dat er te veel mensen langs het spoor zorgen voor onveilige toestanden. Maar binnen de spotter scene zijn zulke ritten nooit een geheim..
