That Iron daemon had 2240 HP. Ikit's Storm Daemon, as said on the tooltip, does 788 damage (full ap). The projectile must have passed through the train's hitbox not two, but three times!

Isnt storm daemon like 3 or more small projectiles? Because you could also see a projectile behind the train and a projectile that hit the train

@jobvermuyen5382 if it fires multiple projectiles, then those should each do the listed damage. I had no idea the missile count of storm daemon was more than 1,but you might be right. Sadly I don't have access to the game right now to check.

The damage values on the unit panel shows damage per 10 seconds, so it's damage×reload time/10, not the actual damage number

As someone else pointed out, Storm Daemon has multiple projectiles, with a projectile damage north of 750 with 100 % AP. I believe Storm Daemon might just be insane vs single entities.

@@N0ahface A horse is smaller so it's likely most projectiles will miss. It might be the chariot bug, but I'm not discarding the possibility that it's just working as intended

Due to the health difference between lammasu and bale taurus and chalice of blood and darkness being a thing, lammasu's spell resist really doesn't mean that much. If the lord tanks an overcast flensing ruin the net damage after resist and chalice healing is 438 for lammasu (rounds to 7% of their total health) and 565 for bale taurus (also rounds to 7% of the total health). Due to price difference you do get one more wolf raider bow with lammasu, but on the other hand you are losing breath attacks and much better combat stats, as lammasu has poor MA and AP split. I personally don't think the mount is ever worth it, you only really benefit from the silence if you can stick to a caster, but horse mounted casters can run from it and anything more elite than that beat it in combat.

This match up is really interesting, a light of great counter play opportunity. Idle unit discipline is so basic and so important - it's really easy to see too with the ZZZ indicator and it HURTS to see! An occasional visual scan of your unit bar tells the whole story in a heartbeat.

APM in competitive matches is actually pretty high. Not StarCraft level high but a lot more punishing for mistakes due to the loads of spells and dodge able projectiles. It’s natural for people to lose track of shit

@@idle_q3699 The game literally puts giant ZZZ across the box of the unit, theres no way you miss that for that long while clicking things, looking at the screen, and everything else. Its especially glaring later in the game when you have one blob and maybe 7-10 units only to manage.

Agreed, it’s very easy to lose track of stuff. I lose track of stuff in campaign battles, and that’s way less intense a situation. Sometimes you just forget stuff, and you forget to check if any of your units are idle

How is there no rewind feature? CA really needs to invest in the multiplayer community. You guys are the main thing keeping this game relevant and we don't even have a rewind feature? Wow.

The way total war replays work is a little weird. Instead of replaying the actual match it saves all the inputs that they players made throughout the battle, then sends them to two AIs that you watch battle as they replicate every single move made along with the exact timing. Since there's no reason to add a rewind feature to normal battles and you're technically watching a live battle when you watch a replay, we're probably never going to get a rewind.

@@ByronC900 I suspect it's one of those situations where if you were building a system from the ground up and replays were an intended feature you wouldn't do this, but as a way to implement replays in a mostly-existing game it was the easiest option. It does mean that patches break replays, because stuff goes differently from the original battle and the inputs stop making sense.

I thought that it was intentional in Warhammer Total War, as opposed to Mark of Chaos. Some youtubers use extra variant mods that look a bit confusing.

What unit are we talking about? All infantry or a single RoR? All units typically have 2-3 different model types. If you're only seeing a single model, make sure you have no mods enabled, as they could be the cause. If you're still experiencing the issue, I'd recommend checking the bug report forum to see if the problem is known, and if not, create a ticket for it.

@@SpiceCh when you snare any flying units they'll go up into the air after a few seconds. If you've got a flying unit locked down in melee you would rather not snare them.

When fighting on middle point and both lords low, Skaven should have committed Ikit to duel with Chorf lord. Yeah he loses 1v1, but with the shooting backup he had, he would have won at expense of half his lord's hp or so. Otherwise all that work was wasted and should have been used on daemon's tongue instead. Also, would have been nice to see a bit more what he was all calling in. Because it didn't seem like skaven had many more units contesting objectives despite how many expensive daemon tongue call-in's their opponent made. But I did appreciate you highlighting how the map incentivized a more melee-centric build from skaven.

Anything's better than sitting on a point and"winning" Nothing will convince me "objective points" matter. Wow that useless piece of land won me the battle! When the enemy has more units and hp and damage. Keep fooling yourself tho. Thinking this is better 🤔🤡
