You will be happy to know that the CC's amazing version of this song in now being played every other morning (5 AM Eastern Time) on country station WPCV in Lakeland Florida to start off their broadcast day. I forwarded a copy of these truly blessed young ladies to the operations manager and also asked him to see if it was possible to get them lined up to the Super Bowl this year in Tampa....We'll see

I may be a Limey from Cornwall England but I must say I am jealous,these girls ROCK,I wish we had a National Anthem as uplifting as the USA,anyway I am related as My sister lives in Maine.I have heard some terrible anthems sung by what I call screechers,but these girls can really bring out all that is to be proud of,they sing in harmony and are loud and high and are fantastic,to you The CACTUS CUTIES I give My RESPECTS and BEST WISHES,SING ON GIRLS SING LOUD, SING PROUD,YOU ARE FANTASTIC.

7/4/08 - Wow! Great performance and interview. I am mesmerized every time I watch and listen to these young ladies. Their voices are unbelievable and they're sooo darn cute! Thanks for the DVD "Cactus Cuties Live", it got here yesterdan and I've enjoyed the complete 22 song DVD and the Bonus videos of all four Cuties doing their original audition. So cute. hmmm that sounds redundant but, it's true. I was born and raised in Lamesa just 50 miles or so away from Lubbock so I feel close. I really love their music, performances and personalities. Especially Madeline's High notes, Blair's yodeling, Andi's constant smile and perfect vocals and Baylee's lead vocals. -Jimmy

There is a CD included in a book they have for sale on Amazon. "Oh Say Did You Know". It includes the studio version of this and "Think" by Aretha Franklin, and an original song titled "Children of America". There is also a professional DVD coming out this fall from two concerts they performed recently in thier hometown. It WILL be awesone!!! I was there..

This is the most beautiful rendition of the national anthem I have heard. I've heard it butchered so many times at athletic competitions by well meaning artists. This is absolutely marvelous! I have been wondering what happened to the fifth girl, Tatum Lowe? The way they appear onstage in this video from left to right is; Baylee Barrett, Blaire Elbert, Andi Kitten and Madelyn Powell. Gosh... these girl have an beautiful, incredible, almost inhu7man tallent. It is a pleaseure to listen to them. But I wish there wasnt such an obvious effort made to make them look so perfect and uniform. In 2004, Baylee had an accident on a trampoline and suffered a broken neck. After months of rehab she overcame an initially bleak outlook and made a full recovery. She's fine now. =]

The original Cuties National Anthem was sung on Jan. 20th, 2008 for the Texas Tech game. Send Madeline's grandfather (Bullhead003) a message here and ask him when it was. The lady in this interview should have said "a few months ago" not a few years ago. It just wouldn't make sense if it was 5 years ago. That's when they originally got together as a group!

Wow, amazing voices. In the UK, if you stood up and sang the national anthem, people would tell you to be quiet, so you don't offend a minority.
