CMG The short-lived shows are the best though. Killing them off in a short space of time stops the risk of the show from slowly dying in a long, painful death. The Gravity Falls creator himself said it'd be best for it to end now, instead of dragging on to slowly die. Just take a look at a British TV Show, Primeval *Which I fucking love* that ended on Season 5 and a great big, fuck-off cliffhanger. Despite there being talks about it returning; that's all down to the producers if they want to continue it. Peppered Ribs is arse cancer of the worse kind at this point; and should've died several years ago.

If we go off of the assumption that Peppa is about 5 in this show - and since it started in 2004, it's set in 2004 - she should now, in the present, be around 17. George, maybe 15. It would be a very good investment for someone to make a spin-off. It could be about how Peppa's pampering as a child has made her into a shallow person, one who's very popular and surrounded by fake friends, but she's devoid of any actual emotion as she struggles secretly with depression, alcohol, meaningless sex, and most importantly, the realization that everyone she knows is fake and no one truly likes her. All the while, George, a now socially awkward, inept and generally hurt individual, becomes more shut off from the world, wanting to be left alone with his own mind, but is constantly hounded by his sister and her fake friends who follow her like sheep (and are sheep) just so that Peppa can feel better about her shitty life. Their relationships with their parents won't be good either, and they'll be faced with their biggest fears - they've raised disappointments. They look back to the 1990s, where they were free, not only from their kids but from each other. Daddy Pig was thin and healthy, Mummy Pig chased Hollywoo dreams, and they weren't stuck in an unloving, faithless marriage. Eventually, everyone faces their biggest fears in one way or another.

What Peppa Pig does right: - The show doesn't try to be trendy. The show deals with simple concepts everyone understands, and doesn't try to dip its toes into memes or use modern technology excessively. - The voices of the characters are very calm and relaxing, which is what you want when trying to entertain children and get them to relax. What Peppa Pig does wrong: - Pretty much everything else. Its worst offense is probably the terrible role models, as brought up in this video. Children have reportedly become bossy and rude for a while after watching.

It's teaching them to limit their selves and their expectations because they are children. It limits their capacity and appreciation for excellence when they're told this is 'good enough' for them. Its just lazy garbage.

Yeah. The whole "You can't criticise kid's shows because they're kid's shows" thing is a load of crap because there have been plenty of good kid's shows so that doesn't excuse what's wrong with bad ones. People who say that are basically suggesting that all kids are dumb idiots who'll watch and like anything no matter how bad it is. Some kids are like that but not all of them are. Creators of bad kid's shows are lazy and convinced that they don't have to put any effort into what they're making.

Denigrating Peppa Pig to make MLP: FiM look better doesn’t make MLP any good. I’ve watched MLP and it lessons and morals for the most part make sense, but still falls into the same bullshit as Peppa Pig. It’s also not “hardcore” in the slightest. MLP softballs and tiptoes around a lot of its morals and doesn’t have the proper maturity to go into them. It also suffers from a lot of Protagonist-Centered morality, where the main characters can’t possibly be wrong and there always has to be an antagonist or a guilty party in some way. The reason why MLP is popular is because for most part it was cute and the Rule 34. The writing in it is mostly garbage.
