white, light gray or cream ostrich
monofilament or tanza thread 0,20
transparent ule, scud back or nymph skin clear or light olive
pseudo fox so
peacock strands
lead wire or tape
recommended thread brown or black UNI 8/0 or Veevus 8/0 or 10/0.

Hi, how are you, the first one is adhesive zonker lead tape, second is white ostrich feather and the 3rd i make the knot with my hand but you can use a whip finisher. Best regards!

Why are all the video's I find tying MUCH larger larva and nymph than I see being fished. When I go to the fly shop it's all No. 16-24 hooks with most guys fishing No. 18-22.

Hi buddy, it depends on the insects present on the rivers you use to fish, but in most fly shops the flies they sell are not the best option if you want something in particular for the rivers you fish. Best regards
