Thorax: SLF Spikey Squirrel - Dark brown
Eyes: Melted monofil, coated with Gulff Black Magic UV resin
Wing buds: Wapsi Swiss Straw - Brown
Pen: Finecolour Marker - Orange brown
Legs: Wapsi Ring Neck Pheasant tail - Natural

Лет 50 всё мечтал нахлыст освоить. На Нёмане увидел, как мужик плетёнкой (конической) забрасывал мушку. И пробовал, из кусочков вязал от 1 мм. до 0,1 мм. И, и, и... и........ Книги купил, пёрышки рисовал..... Выше спининга не получилось.

Fantastic fly my caddis are just a little darker any source for darker latex materials? Or should I just color with marking pen. Finally you’ve given me a practical use for Swiss straw.

I watched this one a couple of times. Superb craftsmanship and an excellent demonstration of bobbin control. I played around with this a little and found that the veining on the side could be simplified by tying together the ends of the brown side rib, then using a dubbing spinner to pull them forward along each side. Great pattern and skillful tying.
