Caddy \ South \ North Cross Lake CANOE ROUTES - South Whiteshell Provincial Park - May, 2020

Paddled Through some tunnels from Caddy Lake to South/North Cross Lake. Caught plenty of fish and some amazing wildlife while listening to the birds songs.

My parents had a cabin on caddy from 1964 until 74. On the point across from the boat launch. Big brown log place. I cant thank you enough for this amazing trip down memory lane. I must go back there! Great video!!

Great. We launch at the Caddy Lake Campground boat launch. the first tunnel isn't too far from launch. 2nd tunnel is longer. but no portages required so its a great day of canoeing. Plenty of campsites along the way as well.

Great video! Love this route. Have you made it up to Sailing and Granite Lake? One of my bucket list trips is to complete the loop from there and back to South Cross via Nora.

Thanks Donna! The first tunnel is not bad at all, as far as paddling Caddy Lake. South Cross is pretty long. Also depending on the day, it's hard to paddle back in the Wind! haha
