Excellent coverage of the CT6. I agree that the back ground music can be annoying. If anything, the back ground music should be set to a very low level or just removed. I bought a Cadillac CT6 Platinum edition with Super Cruise and Night Vision. I have the dealership prepping my car and I should be picking up on October 22, 2021. I am very excited.

i thinking about buying one. Trading my Jeep Grand Cherokee L 5.7 V8 for this vehicle here. Have you had any mechanical issue out of it? Has it been treating you good?

@@WilliamDailyReacts No mechanical or electrical issues. It looks like Cadillac put their top engineers on this car. Why do I say that? The body is all aluminum which is perfect against rust. The body is perfect in gap clearance tolerances. I have a 2009 Cadillac CTS and I can tell the difference between the mid-level and top-level Cadillac CT6 Platinum I have. The CTS had issues but the CT6 Platinum is perfect. I currently have 65,000 miles and it run amazing and all the electronics is perfect. Acceleration is also blistering fast as I showed it to my friend who owns a Porsche 911. He erupted in praise when I floored it on the highway.

The video explains many features well. This is a good video for a CT6 that is set up like this. However, I have a CT6 that is not like this in several ways. This became clear when first looking at the gear shifter. Mine is shaped very differently and the Park option is on the top of the stick. This is just one example.

Thanks for your question, so here is how to find the mode that says v6 v4. On the right side of your steering wheel where the 4 arrows are click the left arrow key and then select info. Click the up arrow key until you see "TRIP A" where your average fuel economy is. Just below your mileage to the right you'll see v6. Watch that when you drive, that will change to green when you are in v4 mode. It will change periodically depend if the car is under a load. Hope this help!

Awesome and informative video. I just picked up a 2018 premium luxury. Mine has a few option above what is shown here. I have the full digital gauge cluster, rear seat screens, and, night vision. I do not have a heated steering wheel or foot motion trunk opening. What packages were those 2 options included with? What year was the reviewed vehicle? I think it is 2018 or older because of the 8 speed trans. Mine had an MSRP or $75095.00 with $995 destination charge.

Yes you can Fred, the dial is located right next to the electronic parking break just below the hvac vent next to the door panel. This dial controls the theater lighting along with the Infotainment Center and Guage cluster. Unfortunately cadillac did not give you the option to change colors, apparently they want the CT6 to look a particular way when driving at night. I really don't think it had anything to do with price structure, just that they wanted it to look the way they wanted it.

I belive it automatically is connected to the original remotes that the car came with. I didn't have to program mine. If I find anything else about it I'll let you know.

You actually showed how to gain access to the car if the key fob battery dies, however you did not show how to start the car, if the fob is dead how can you start with a dead key fob?

If you open up the center console you will see a vary small compartment towards the back, just place the key fob in and your car will start.

No, unfortunately you can't. Cadillac apparently thought this color compliments the interior.

Security systems are built in and automatically arm when the car is shut down. The car will not make any sounds when the car is armed. The Way to check it is to stand outside in the front and look down at the dashboard, you should see a little red light blinking in the center of the dashboard. What is the best driving mode to keep it in

@@DM-by5sr the best mode to keep it in is touring mode, this will give you the best gas mileage. If you put it in sport mode the rpm's will shift faster and get you off the line faster and the exhaust will get a little louder and the steering is more responsive, its more for performance. If you put it in snow and ice mode this will eat up a lot of gas because both transfer cases are ingadged, use this mode If your trying to get out of a spot where's a lot of snow is and then put it back in touring mode. In touring mode the awd will kick in when needed.

That is one very ugly car. Look at that overscaled nose. What were they thinking? The front isn't well integrated into the rest of the car body. And what's with the "crying eyes"? Those drooping headlights look ridiculous. I don't know who thinks this looks like luxury, but it doesn't look like good design to me. It looks clumsy and confused.
