You are the reason why I keep my CTS V-Sport! Your videos thoroughly explain on the process how to maintain and fix the issues. Without you, my wallet probably been lit on fire. You videos on the car are a bless to the community. Thank you

Just installed this over the weekend and got the car aligned today and it feels great. This is on a 2014 CTS VSport with 84k miles. I had thought I was at the limits of what RWD could do with my E30 tune but now I realize it was the rear subframe causing my issues. Now it's putting the power down without making you feel like it might go sideways.

This raises the question: do the ct5-v blackwing precision package bushings fit other Alpha cars? Great video and product.
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
It’s possible but they are very difficult to remove and just as hard to install. Pretty much need to pull the whole cradle to do it right
@lifespeed22 ай бұрын
@@JetFuelOnly the cradle needs to be pulled to upgrade the fuel pump for E85, so there are a couple reasons. Nothing is ever easy.
@RevelryRacing2 ай бұрын
@@lifespeed2 That’s a great question. There’s a high probability they will fit just fine. Truth is that we just don’t know enough about it or them yet, this 1,000% stiffer design. We haven’t seen them in the wild, don’t know their construction yet, and we have no idea how much they are gonna cost. It is possible that they use the Camaro ZLE solid aluminum units but we just don’t know. In any event, we’ll make sure to share what we know as soon as we know it! If you get your hands on one, bring it on down!!

@lifespeed2 on the CTS the cradle doesn’t need to be pulled to drop the fuel tank.
@lifespeed22 ай бұрын
@@JetFuelOnly I assumed it did based on my gen 2 CTS. Apparently not.

Wonder if these will work on a XTS V-Sport? I know some of the CTS V parts to carry over to the XTS
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
You can cross shop part numbers if the bushings are the same part number maybe. But Revelry Racing found that between Alpha chassis cars their bushings were almost all a little bit different. These kits are pretty specific
@banjo2152 ай бұрын
I would be very surprised if they did. There's a lot of engine cross over but I don't think there's much chassis crossover.
@RevelryRacing2 ай бұрын
Brad, there is little to no crossover between the XTS and CTS base chassis, incluidng V and V-Sport models. Ultimately, the XTS V-Sport has AWD, which nearly eliminates this particular issue anyway, as AWD distributes load between axles cutting power transmitted through either in half. Also, the XTS was a FWD base platform, which it shared with the Chevy Malibu and not sure what other vehicles.

Does the 18 cts v need these?
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
Need is up to you but the 18 is no different than. The other years

I know its not mentioned but would it fit a 2013 CTS coupe base model?

This is for the Alpha chassis specifically, V3 CTS

Love your videos! Do you think you'll do any for the CT4 or CT5? Maybe an upgrade option list?
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
Thank you, be honest it’s about access. If some of my CT four or CT five friends wanna do a modification and we have the ability to film it, I will.

I thought I was tripping but I've been noticing my 2016 v sport premium has been flexing too much in the rear
@RevelryRacing2 ай бұрын
Ain’t no trip, it’s real. Same thing happened to me two summers ago and it came outta nowhere. On the freeway, headed to the track, and we were goosing it a bit when I noticed a rear steer condition. Like the car would crab walk some at WOT. If that, or something similar, is familiar to you, our kit will shore things up well!

Jet fuel only please I beg you please upload a video of replacement of the seat heating element please I beg you. It's getting really cold where I'm at and I want to fix mine but I really would like to watch a video first to know what I'm up against if possible.
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately I probably won’t do one. I believe the seat heating element has been discontinued. Big rings are the biggest challenge of it all from what I understand.
@michaelblack32542 ай бұрын
@JetFuelOnly what do you mean the big rings? Any and all information will desperately help because I don't have any repair procedure really want to invest in one. And that's interesting I had no idea. Every place I'm looking online is still offering the seat heating element.
@JetFuelOnly2 ай бұрын
Sorry I meant “hog rings” and necessary “hog ring pliers”. I’m sure there’s plenty of videos discussing their use on interior leather and seat covers.
