How often do you have to do this? I did this before and it stop overheating. But started right back again a little while after.

This tube stop up because exhaust is getting into your coolant system because your head gasket is leaking. Are you getting a message saying Check Coolant Level?

You wrapped your duct tape the wrong way, use thread compound with Teflon, not tape.
