Northstar engine 97-02 overheating issues...3 areas of concern to check

My 1994 Eldorado with only 36k miles on it started over heating i will check these issues. I bought the car with 35k miles I'm not happy this is my 3rd Northstar i had issues over 100k miles with them i never thought it would happen with such low miles

Do you add the tabs to the coolant tank or are they like little filters that go in the lines??

My coolant reservoir isnt circulating its just still idk what to

Unless you’re willing to drop a lot of time and money into it, then yes. They’re wonderful when they run right, but the northstar is knows for over heating throughout certain years, I think 96-01. I have an 05 that I’m chasing a over heating issue now and I know it’s not the head bolts and that how I ended up here lol
