True, there was a video I just watched on the 1930 Cadillac V16 and that engine was smooth even by modern standards. From what I understand Cadillac was considered a cut above Rolls Royce at that time. Going forward many years I also consider the 1967 Eldorado one of the classiest and most beautiful cars ever made. Unfortunately they lost their way in the 70’s and 80’s, although to be honest my mom had a 1987 Sedan De Ville growing up and that was a great car. We had it for over 10 years and put over 200,000 miles on it. It just looked to similar to other GM’s like Oldsmobiles and Buicks

Mr. Welburn is a hero in many ways. His design language, as well as his historical presence at GM has helped save the company. This design in particular should have been given a short run similar to the CTS coupe and wagon. the ElMiraj is the Eldorado we need from this generation, and the halo car Cadillac has been promising since the days of the Sixteen - now almost 2 decades ago. Somebody's got to spend the money, make the investment and the buyers will come.

***** honestly i love european cars.... my favourite brands are italian brands. however the cadillac and american cars have really stepped their game up. not so much to top euroean but they can certainly match the handling ability and performance. however when it comes to doing that with all new technology.... wellll lets just say id take a european car over and american car. but technology doesn't mean anything in terms of driving experience. just remember the last gen vette had leaf springs and handled well

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful modern vehicle designs, right behind the cadillac sixteen of course. the only flaw with the sixteen was the wheels, wasn't a big fan. gotta love that 1000 hp n/a engine though. they're both art masterpieces.

It's 2022 and I still check this car out. It is simply gorgeous, better than a Bentley, Maybach or any other high end Luxo-hotrod. I've been waiting for this car since 2013. GM is still "no dice". What do I have to do....build my own Elmiraj?

Nobody can do a luxury sports coupe like Cadillac and yet they don’t make one anymore. For the prices that they charge for those awful SUVs, they could easily make a niche coupe and keep the production numbers low on purpose, because there are enough of us out here who would buy something just like this car here and here it is nine years later, and that car is still gorgeous.

Seven years later and Cadillac still hasn't grown a set of balls, maybe a couple of more billions of tax payer dollars ? If I were this great designer I'd transfer to a company with taste. How many people have to say they would sell their first born before a company gets the idea. We already have luxury Toyotas and crossovers, Try to be the standard again, instead of being a sheep follower. If life was somewhat fair, this guy would be the CEO.

Probably the sexiest car design to come out of America. They need to build this asap. This car will, in my opinion turn things right for Cadillac which have been putting out rather ugly cars during the last few years.

Ive always been partial to Cadillac's designs, no other car seems to have the same presence and elegance. This car though, the most beautiful I have ever seen of any car in its class, absolutely stunning. Just breathtakingly radiant.

This may be the prettiest car I have ever seen. Also, the gentleman that Leno is speaking with is one of the smoothest communicators I have ever come across. I'm 51, but when I grow up, I want to be able to interact with people like that guy. Soooooo smooooooooooth.
