Thank you for the great comparison. I have had the Seestern (silver dial - first AliExpress I bought) for a while. And I paid $175 and have no regrets so at $120, it’s a steal. I bought it when they only had male end links, and I had to put it on a tropic FKM. It’s still one of my favorite watches I own. The lume is excellent, and it wears larger than a 37mm. But I’m glad the Cadisen exists for those who cannot or will not pay more for the Seestern. Sorry for the long comment. Thanks!

Can you mod cadisen, so that we have a better understanding about how to deal with the inner chapter ring etc

I'm currently doing a cadisen 62mas mod and you can basically just remove the chapter ring from the cadisen dial and place it over the new dial! You could remove old paint and have a plain metal chapter ring. It's aluminium! You can't use a 28.5mm dial without the chapter ring as it is too small for the space in the case. I hope that makes sense and helps!

I’ve ordered the Cadisen for size I have a small wrist and I’ve been collecting for a while and after the watch gets wear and scratches on it a lighter or non reflective dial doesn’t show use as much. Also the Cadisen resembles one of my vintage seiko divers. Thank you for your review. Very good.

I had one of those. The watch is good for the money. Because it's literally the cheapest 007 you can find out there :D. But it's just good, not great.. The quality is acceptable

The seestern watch head is incredible. I have two. Lined up, on hands and bezel. The bracelet seems average though both of mine are tropics straps. That strap is very good btw

flat sapphire crystal shows less reflections, more legible. I definitely prefer flat crystals. But the Cadisen logo and font on the dial are not very nice.

That milled clasp of the Cadisen (like the Pagani Design) is a Rolex inspired design. And it has 3 micro-adjustments, and a wet suit extension. The Seestern doesn't.

Seestern looks cooler in red and with domed glass, but at least on pictures blue Cadisen also is not bad. Cadisen should really drop that clasp. I had it on older Pagani, it was very stiff to open and sharp corners cut my thumb.

Yeah, some of my pagani also have a very stiff clasp. But this one was surprisingly well-made

@@ShortBetter There is some variability of clasp quality between examples with Pagani. I've had three and each was slightly different. My only Cadisen with this style strap (featured watch) is quite good though. Not too sharp, not too stiff. I'm pleased as punch with the whole watch for the price. Such a value.

@kleinbottled79 yeah, pagani watches are often like a lottery. I had a few cases when I needed to get a bracelet replaced. While another watch of the same model was absolutely great

I picked up the Cadisen at the 11.11 sale. And it's incredibly much watch for little money. My only grief would be the bezel action. The back play is huge on my watch.

I have the San Martin version with grey sunburst dial on the fkm waffle strap the newer 39 mm and it’s very impressive what you can get nowadays for $175. Safire crystal ceramic bezel 200m screw down crown. My bezel feels among the best I’ve felt recently. Although I love my Seikos they need to step it up with sapphire to even be worth it. I’d love if my Seiko 5kx came with Sapphire same with my new field gmt. It’s not like Sapphire is all that expensive nowadays

Definitely fair to call it Rolex 'style' but it is EXACTLY like the Pagani ones - right down to how annoying it is to adjust. My guess would be it's literally coming off the same production line. Anyone who has handled a Pagani with this kind of clasp will know precisely what to expect from it.

@@kleinbottled79, btw I bought this Cadisen 1 month ago and I can tell that I really like it. For it's $60 it has very "thin" brushing and...important: MOVT is adjusted! It runs within 5 seconds tolerance within a WEEK! Pagani and Steeldive run +8 +12 seconds a DAY. This is my first Cadisen, but, I am pretty sure, not the last one.
