🌡 2006 Ford F350 Fan Override Switch Install **(Long, Detailed)** 🌡🌀

We did some towing recently and I knew that we would need some preemptive cooling for the Ford F350 as in the past when we have towed, it has gotten hotter than I am comfortable with. I use the BlueDriver module and app to monitor coolant temps, and anything over 210 makes me uncomfortable. We recently towed a 29' RV up to Crater Lake to do some camping and while the Fan Override Switch VASTLY improved things, it still runs a bit too hot for my liking. Also quite a bit of coolant came out of the expansion tank so that merits further investigation. It does have a new aluminum ebay radiator, OEM cap, and only blew coolant out to near the bottom of the reservoir. I, for sure, had it overfilled, and it doesn't smoke, white or blue on startup. Never the less, I am going to eventually bulletproof it. So here is the long winded version of adding a fan override switch.

Why not use the wires that are aready thru the dash. That have nothing hooked to them. They look like have connectors on them with nothing hooked to them.

I put on a new Motorcraft fan clutch..works great now..$360..runs cooler and AC is cooler.

Once this mod is completed will the fan function as normal when not grounded by use of the switch?
