@@kazelai8507 exactly, there's was not lane gap at all. All T1 players played their assigned lane beautifully but the draft ruined everything they have in a line. A treble was a promise for T1 but the draft failed. Tbh

I haven't been following the offseason and don't know about most players contracts but I am just so happy to see T1 with the exact same roster. Love that team so much, hope Faker has the season of his career and they make another trip to the finals.

Thanatos was absolutely insane in academy, the only reason no one picked him up was because he was underage. I doubt that DK want to try another season with the constant shuffle of sub and starter again, they seem like they want to go all out this year with Showmaker's and Canyon's contract expiring. Management is definitely hoping for a successful season to re-sign them.

@@Quang1999 I dont really see how this lineup can be interpreted as "all out" the shouldve gone for a better support, they couldve gotten a better adc in viper or ruler, and canna also is a absolute mediocre pickup. Only reason they are still seen like a top 3 team is canyon and showmaker.

@@MrKatzenminze all out because they bought all proven talents instead of developing talents like this year. Free agency is not as simple as pick up whoever you want. DK don’t have the money like HLE or Chinese orgs to offer outrageous amounts for a single player. Also improving roster is not about just buying “better” player. What they want to do is to get pieces that fit the puzzle they have. Canyon wants to play with Deft and Deft really does fit the overall playstyle of DK. Kellin’s staying probably because of player’s approval. The only choice I don’t understand is why Canna over Rascal. Rascal’s good friend with Deft and Showmaker so that was an odd choice. Maybe because Canyon still wants to play toward top side and Rascal is not the explosive player he needs. Or maybe Rascal and BeryL just don’t want to join, it’s mote complicated than you’d think.

The fact that msi is now 2 teams from top regions, makes the season way more exciting, cause its very likely to be a T1 wash out as people find their feet with these new rosters, so we can now watch second and third excitedly.

1. T1 couldn't have done any better move by keeping the same roster 2. Deft on dk is a really good move, i think kellin was actually good, don't like canna very much tho as he's a liability when he was at t1 3. Not sure about hle feels like that team will end up looking overrated in actuality, still is really exciting with zeka and viper together 4. Beryl, Croco and Rascal sounds so exciting, those 3 are gonna do crazy things together 5. Kiin with a good mid and adc will be probably be exciting as well 6. Very excited about peyz, not sure if zeus even got as much of a hype as peyz got, and it would depend on his performance how well gen g will do as ruler teamfights and getting leads by himself was a big part of gen g's success, also apparently delight is there coz of the synergy he had with peyz

Chovy is like a time bomb. One of the best laners and if he gets enough time to farm he hard carries but this is also his weakness which was very evident in their worlds knockout. T1 has mechanically the best team across the board along with their shot calling but man do they need better drafts since almost every loss they suffered was majorly down to the opponent just straight up outdrafting them.

I like that Caedrel understands how underrated Peanut, Rascal and Life are, but he underrates Cuzz too imo! Also, he severely overrates Zeka and Kingen, just because Zeka had one very good worlds it doesn‘t redeem his consistently subpar domestic splits everytime until now, no way he counts as a as good a player as faker or even showmaker, at least not yet. Same for Kingen. Also, idk which games Caedrel watched but he said that Beryl‘s laning phase is broken, but truth be told the laning phase is like Beryl‘s biggest weakness by FAR, he‘s muuuuch better at other areas of the game.

i mean zeka is a monster. you cant compare zeka to somebody whos been professional in LOL like faker since season 1. Zeka earned his world title. he destroyed chovy. he matched faker. his legacy will be decided if he can keep this level up though i agree

Yes. Canna was played dirty, he wanted to go to DK after his year with T1, but some contract bullshit didn’t let him go, so he ended up signing with NS

GenG looks the strongest right now. They lost 2 - 0 against T1 yes, but it was way closer than it might look at first. And they dominated every other series so far. T1, DK and HLE all had their struggles far more often so far. LSB also looks amazing but I don't think they're a top 3 team. I think if HLE and DK get into better dynamic in their new team comp and T1 finds a more stable identity in how they play out games, it will between those 3 teams and GenG who takes it at the end.

I feel Afreeca is underrated just because the players were all subs to known quantity players. Can see them around 4th to 5th. Don’t really got faith in DRX this year. KT will probably do well. T1 is a clear favourite this year. No contest until summer.

I'd say Kellin is one of the best Util supports but mediocre with tank supports. His nami and lulu looks mediocre on paper because Deokdam wasn't too great on lucian and some other adcs this year. Delight in the other hand is great on tank/initiator supports but mediocre on util supports. I feel like he fits well with Gen.G playstyle. Also the reason I'm not sold on the DRX members is because Beryl's laning phase is quite terrible but has a great macro while Deokdam seriously needs support from his team early game to be relevant in mid/late game. I feel like they do not go well together. IDK maybe croko fate can help bot and Rascal can rip enemy top laner on his own.

I agree with everything but i have a feeling that HLE will be a disappointment (hope they will prove me wrong) kingen really overperformed at worlds, clid and life have on and off games like one day they are top tier and another day they are the reason team lost but zeka i dont know because at worlds it was his meta and now he has cooled down so i dont know how he will handle new meta. viper one of if not the best adc and i am sure he will perform.
