You turned a crappy looking old bike into a work of art, I couldn't believe those 2 were the same. Very underated what you did

.That’s a wonderful ebike build. I’ve gone the ebike Cafe racer route too and am inspired by your use of stepdown converter and 12v m/cycle switches 👍

Dude This is awesome!! I have been looking to do my own ebike conversion, but wanted something with more of a motorcycle feel, and this ticks all the boxes. Great job on the build and great job taking us through your thought process and executions along the way. That is a badass bike and I cannot wait to make my own.

Great job! I've been thinking about electric bicycles and in the style of cafe racer motorbikes, with the headlights, tank and seat. I was looking on youtube to see if anyone has built one and I stumble across your vid. Thank you. 🙂👍

This is dope, ive got a fat bike and a 1500w motor and I want to emulate a modern cafe racer / electric dirt bike for my first build, now I know how to affix a motorcycle seat to a bike. Have you ever considered adding pedals and an electric drive train to an old motorcycle frame? Check out the super73, something along the lines of that. Great video! Got me excited about my own build
@stupid-clever2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I ride this thing daily to work. It is fun as hell! I think a motorcycle frame would be way too heavy for the cheapo components I used. Good luck on your build!

You could also add fat tyres of bicycle, and it will look more like bike.
@stupid-clever Жыл бұрын
I agree The width of the tire is limited by the frame, but bigger looks cooler. Thanks for Watching
@jojogonjalves4137 Жыл бұрын
@@stupid-clever No but bigger tyre would have given more bike like vibes. But anyway if you are happy with your build, we are happy. I was just commenting, don't take seriously.

AMAZING BRO! Subscribed and liked video! thanks! if you could put the list of items and the specs of each would be wonderfull cause some items are specific to the traction and the horn and lights
@stupid-clever2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. The horn, lights, brake levers are just cheap motorcycle parts off of Amazon and eBay. You can literally mix and match any 12 volt system parts you want

@ripp3rjak9342 жыл бұрын
Yo please tell me where you got those turning lights!
@stupid-clever2 жыл бұрын
All of the lights were easily sourced off of Amazon or EBay. They are 12 volt motorcycle replacements. Just search motorcycle led strip light. Thanks for watching!

What was your motivation for making this bike by the way? What is your profession? I'd assume carpenter or some kind of tradesman? Or is all this stuff just a hobby you learnt
@stupid-clever Жыл бұрын
I’m just a fan of the old cafe racer style but I’m too chicken to ride a real motorcycle! I ride it everyday to work about a half mile away. A real motorcycle would just be overkill! Thanks for watching!
@oliver-ce6zg3 жыл бұрын
Hi i am going to build one like this and was wondering how wide your seat was.
@stupid-clever3 жыл бұрын
Its about 7 inches wide. I "trimmed" the seat to match the size of the gas tank. If you are thinking about doing it, I would start by finding a gas tank and then assuming your going to need to modify the seat to match. Good luck and thanks for watching!
@oliver-ce6zg3 жыл бұрын
@@stupid-clever thanks for the answer, i live in the netherlands and i am having a really difficult time finding a frame like yours , and i think a hardtail wouldn't look as realistic and Nice. Do you think a hardtail could do the job?
