Ÿour right, the 650 Interceptor is doing well in the UK and might have an impact in the USA as well. With that type of fanfare it started years ago, it would be incredibly beneficial to all in seeing a British twin captured an age-old tradition that started in Britain.

I have a personal "Soft Spot" for the Royal Enfield, and added to that I love the look of this bike. Normally I'm not a fan of bigger profiled tyres as some can look like balloons and spoil the look, however there must be an exception to every rule and here it is! The rear cowl is perfect and the strip of acrylic looks beautiful as well as being practical. Another thing I noticed was how the rear number plate doubles up as a neat chain guard. A nice touch. You pointed out the curve of the exhaust filling the gap at the front between the engine/front wheel, a nice optical trick and obviously improves the gas flow with a sweeping bend. As @FrederickWoods5943 pointed out, I also wondered if the engine would have been bored out and I was slightly surprised that it was left stock. This is just a personal thing as I would have liked a but more "Grunt" to go with the looks. Will it be "Bike of The Year"? Personally I think not, however it is more than worthy of being included here. Your new voice no longer needs tweaking as it sounds great (to my English ears) with the right amount of personality now. And Yes Racer TV, You will see me on the next Video.

Excellent design and craftsmanship "but" after all the fine work that it takes just can't leave the right front fork leg with the break caliper mount showing without break system, my thought
@RACER_TV10 ай бұрын
@carlosgooglemaps94 Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. Yes, i also noticed he maintained the same brake disc, and the same brake caliper. I'm not sure, but I think he had difficulty finding a spoked wheel hub that was compatible with the Ducati disc mounting points. I had this same problem when building my Honda CX (Frankenstein). :) Cheers.
@carlosgooglemaps9410 ай бұрын
@@RACER_TV well Victor; if the builders have the budget (seems to me they have), then Cognito Moto will make the wheel hub needed for any fork.
@RACER_TV10 ай бұрын
@carlosgooglemaps94 Lol. True. But that is not what I meant. The big difficulty is not adapting a wheel hub, but a certain disc brake. I give you an example. The entire front suspension and brake calipers on my Honda CX, came from a Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R. But it was impossible to adapt the Kawasaki ZX9R brake discs, because the holes in the center did not coincide with the wheel hub. The solution was to use the disc brakes from a Suzuki GSX(I think) . :)
@carlosgooglemaps9410 ай бұрын
@@RACER_TV yes Victor, I understood, but what I said is that those guys at Cognito Moto will make a brand new wheel hub from billet so they can make as many holes as you want just tell them for what break disc it is. I don't know if I made myself clear, hope so😅
@RACER_TV10 ай бұрын
Ooooh. Now i understand. I didn't know Cognito Moto could make wheel hubs by order. It would undoubtedly be a good solution. It's just a shame it's a little expensive, even for me. I suppose for an Indian builder, it is really expensive. But thank you Dear Carlos for your clarification. Sorry for my wrong interpretation. :) Cheers.
@frederickwoods594310 ай бұрын
Was hoping the title "size matters" meant some of the money went towards at least a mild big-bore kit...the whole video is about the size of someone's wallet; cosmetic overkill. For less than $1,500 in the U.S. you can build a 750cc RE twin with around 60 hp (70 hp with 90mm pistons) and use the bike for riding, not showing. Stock 648cc is anemic regardless of what the bike looks like 😢
@RACER_TV10 ай бұрын
Lol. Yes, i think i see what you mean. Considering that the majority of the channel's followers give more importance to the aesthetic factor, it is normal that the majority of my videos feature projects that have been less worked on in the engine. Personally, I think a motorcycle with almost 50 horsepower and a 6-speed gearbox is more than enough for most people. My Honda CX 650 has 65 horsepower, and I often feel like I could have a more relaxing drive if it only had 50. Lol. But thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

The "Interceptor" is certainly a motorcycle that you love almost as it is. Because the mufflers seem disproportionate like grotesque trombones and the curve of the tube is ugly and unoriginal, it really kills the aesthetics of the engine, which is beautiful. The tires always seemed ridiculously thin to me. Both the exhaust and the tires may have gotten there due to government-imposed regulations. The fact is that it diminished the beauty of a motorcycle that has great modification potential. What first caught my eye was the exhaust with that curve so close to art deco. Because in such a "muscular" project that delicate curve makes the difference between the common and the exceptional. Royal Enfield should be happy.

As always your videos are fantastic, they provide knowledge, good tips for cafe racer amateur builders and emotion. But I sincerely feel that I miss your nice real voice, I do not get to understand what is the advantage of making an AI artificial voice instead of giving us the gift or your presence and so particular tone and pronunciation of your voice. Part of your channel attraction is your voice, missing this I feel your videos loose the personal and passion connection with the audience.
@RACER_TV10 ай бұрын
Thank you my friend for your kind comment. Allow me to explain an important detail to you. The old voice I always used in the videos is not real. It is an artificial voice created by software.
