Thank you Caro for this video...I usually don't comment, I just enjoy your beautiful videos and artwork from the sidelines. But this idea of ebb and flows in one's art practice and indeed life really resonates with me. I have been an artist and educator for many years, and my teaching practice has overshadowed my art practice for most of my career. I love teaching, and it brings me some financial stability, but it has become increasingly hard on me mentally and physically. I felt I had nothing left for myself. So I tried to make a change and moved (also to the Hudson Valley) and sadly life had other plans, with my health including my eyesight. This winter was the saddest and most hopeless I have ever felt. When spring started recently, I turned towards nature and that has been helpful in giving me back some hope. My favorite things is to see plants that I planted that die down during the winter months and start to re-emerge in the spring and flourish.I think maybe I am like those plants and I still have something in me, at the very least hope and possibilities. That is my wish and prayer. Not just for myself, but for anyone who has felt this way or is struggling. ❤

This is amazing, I feel so happy for you. I’ve been following you since you started and I can remember you talking about wanting to be featured in a magazine, I’ve used that as an example to get my body of work more aligned to “what if a magazine art editor comes to my house and asks to see my work” “Do I have THAT work?” But… anyways, estoy, genuinamente feliz por ti, de verdad que me he emocionado mucho por ti. Felicidades, por tu published interview y por todo lo que haz logrado. Inspiras muchooooo ❤

Hi Caro, congratulations on your interview! That is very exciting, and well-deserved. The Hudson Valley is lucky to have you as a local artist. Do you have this thing called "Open Studios" in your area? I am doing one for the first time ever this month in my area and really looking forward to see how people will respond. It's important for artists to get feedback (whatever it is!) so we ca keep growing and evolving. As usual, I love and appreciate your videos so much! Enjoy your Spring :-) ❤🌻🥀🌹
