Man I had a similar issue with the rear brakes and setting up the rear sets with the rear brake. You saved my ass figuring it out for me. Thanks man. Respect from Houston Texas. 1972 CB175

Pleasure watching you work. Seeing things that worked and didn't work is a massive bonus. The sped up video really works well to see your processes. Thanks very much, always learning from you. 👍

@@CafeRacerGarage I swear, something which the general public don't have is the dedication to show it to people.. you have it mate. Your hardwork will reap results. It takes time and consistency which people are too impatient to work for. Trust me, you will. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm recommending you to my friends group who love motorcycle builds ❤❤

Like it, a neat solution to keep the strength in the back brake linkage that should pass the UK's annual MOT test.

Great video as usual Dan , good solution to the lever fitment to the master cylinder trial an error , sometime looks great in ya head but crap results when made needing a do over ..idea for tapping out a hole leave the bit in the cramp and put the tap in the drill press turn it by hand it's going to guarantee its square and not go offset . And I love the time difference I get to eat me brekkie watching the latest instalment Cheer Dan

Hi Dan I dont know if it's in your plan or not. But once you have your linkage all set up a nice piece of stainless tube cut to length and placed over the threaded rod works a real treat. Keep up the good work.

Nice work-around for the rear brakes/rear sets. It is a bit more work to get that lever to function with the stock location, but I think it should work out ok. You may want to add a bit of aluminum tubing to cover the connecting rod/all-thread that goes between the swivels though...it will look a bit better, but more importantly, it adds some rigidity to that area (in a panic braking situation, slamming on the brake lever can bend the 6mm rod pretty easily). Keep up the great work!

Buddy wouldn’t just be easier to move the slave cylinder? The more moving part the higher the chance of future problems What about if you make the connecting rod shorter and mount it on to the rearsets sort of like the sport bikes have?
