Personally, building anything yourself for your motorcycle and seeing it finished and dutifully serving its purpose is an immensely satisfying experience. It bonds you to your machine. It adds artistic elements and shows the owner’s personality. On the flip side, a bike outfitted with homemade pieces rather than approved OEM parts could be devalued and hard to sell.

I would have left the brackets on the tubes alone and put the arms on the outside of them to showcase your work and build up the space between the arms and headlight with right amount of spacers on either side.

@CafeRacerGarage6 жыл бұрын
Thank you brother, Yes Im over the moon with how they turned out :) one day I will have a mill drill and lathe to make the process quicker and cleaner (after I learn how to use them) but it just goes to show you don't need super expensive tools to create and build stuff if you just think about it, Regarding the weather, I do love the snow, Does it snow in Minnesota? living in the cold weather must be hard, its the hottest time of year for us now and im going to want a bigger fan for the garage lol our winter is not that cold only gets cold morning and night through our winter No snow here :(

Headlight Brackets came out great. Only thing I'd say is you might have to drill out the part that the bolts go though and into the headlight bucket. Put some rubber grommets in and then the bolt through those, it'll isolate the engine vibrations from the headlight so the light beam isn't shacking to bad at night.
@CafeRacerGarage6 жыл бұрын
Thank you, the headlight came with some small rubber washers so I will need to test this and put bigger ones if need be, Thank you for the great comment and Idea mate :)
