"Draw the head as a rectangle not a circle, unless you are drawing Charlie Brown." LOL. I will remember that forever. You are a great teacher. Thank you.

Beautifully explained. So many art videos on youtube are just a demo, without the explanation. This is really helpful for me as I struggle to paint loose / gestures.

The head has always been a problem, and not just for the size. A rectangle. Perfect. 😄

that definitely happens :) I rewatch many of the tutorials from masters, everytime I got something new out of it (not saying I'm a master.. just saying the learning process)

Awesome video again. I follow ur channel closely. I used your tips on wet on wet technique and I believe it really improved my work. Although I have not posted any video on loose painting, Still working on it. In reference to your video where you emphasize using nature o0f watercolor itself in wet on wet to achieve soft blurred and fog effect. I practiced that a lot. If you have time then please take a look at my latest video. it's a painting of a recently popularized photo of a black panther in the misty rainforest. I would really love to have your suggestion if you can give it. Thanks

I realized that all figures are very dark ie brown, dark red, . . . . Thanks for sharing and providing clear explanation for each purpose of your strokes.

Jasmine Wong figures(especially in landscape) are mostly darker so they can stand out more. There are times I paint lighter figures too. Especially when the background is darker
