Caffeine and Machine, style over function I think. We've been once before, more of a car enthusiast hang out. It was 'out of order' they didn't tell you the kitchen was 'out of order' before arrival, especially considering its location. Good old mid summer British weather! Good to see you both back. I have been past C&M quite a few times but only stopped twice. I can't say I have every been impressed with the place and won't bother stopping there again. Service has always been slightly off and seems to be too focused on cars. I generally go a bit further a stop and Wellesbourne airfield.

We've been C&M twice. The 2nd time they were refurbishing the downstairs so no food or drink on offer ! If you like thar sort of thing, check out the Cotswold Motor Hub near Bibury. Nothing worse than a soggy undercarriage! 😂 They could have offered you somewhee to change. 🤔 July weather has been pretty dismal this year. Enjoy your Ireland trip. hi both, although i ride/tour most of the time in rukka gear i would never go without my scott ergo pro water proofs. They are the best by far and they give you a two layer protection system for those totally nasty weather days. ride safe!!

The shoulder is now pretty much healed, but it took a couple of months 😳. Apparently there are a couple of hotels/B&Bs fairly close to the ABR! 👍😀

Hiya, Really interesting video. Re your stay elsewhere in the Cotswolds, i can thoroughly recommend a B+B my wife and i stayed in earlier this year, and it`s 3 miles south west of Stratford upon Avon. It`s called "3 Ways B+B" at Weston Farm, Welford on Avon. My wife and I , along with her parents (my in laws) hired one of the self catering units in June last year. It was superb, and in a lovely peaceful setting. They have a B+B on site too, with 3 rooms, and we`d decided to stay for a 3 night weekend last October. Sadly, my wifes younger sister died unexpectedly a week before we were due to go, so we had to postpone it til March this year, and it was great. We stayed in the best double en-suite, with superb views front and back. If in the near future you would like to return to the Cotswolds, i can wholeheartedly recommend the place, we will be going back for another long weekend in the very near future.

Glad to see you visiting (nearly) Ragley Hall, which is definitely busier during the ABR festival, which I have attended the last 3 years and have my tickets for 2024. I am hoping to get a van to transport a bike and maybe sleep in for next year - fingers crossed. I have swapped the 900 rally Pro for a speedmaster chrome so I will have to look for a cheap off road bike so that I can eventually try the off road trail section 😂 Have moved recently too and try to get to the Oakley Bike night as often as possible.

@@midlifemotorcyclediaries I put the tiger in against the Speedmaster as 99% of my riding was tarmac and the other 1% would have been a mistake 😂 Although I loved it for touring, as I was working in mainland Europe I took the Tiger with me, now back in the UK, it is nice to flat foot. I have my fingers crossed to purchase an old bike to go green laneing on, to get a basic skill level off road. Not too late at 60 !?

Do you experience any excessive heat to your legs from the radiator on you 900 GT? Reviews from other riders indicate heat issues to their legs. My wife currently rides a street twin and the engine heat is extremely uncomfortable during the summer. Looking to get her on a 900 GT but concerned about excess heat. Enjoy your videos. Hi, there is a little extra heat from the engine on especially hot days but nothing uncomfortable. I have had a few people ask about this before so maybe it’s a common thing with the 900 but I can honestly say it’s not a problem for me. Might be with a test ride on a hot day - if we ever get one this year 😄👍
