I’ve always wondered how to use pentatonic form one, the most common one on the minor caged system, should i stick with the g shape or should i change to the e shape?

Wonderful lesson! Just a quick question! For the C form, one may not be able to play it as a chord, but how come the idea that it can be turned into an arpeggio wasn't talked about? Kinda like how one might play the G major shape. It's a pain of a chord, but lovely, and useful, when arpeggiated! Just my little observation but great lesson!

Thanks for the kind words, Brian. Yeah, so an arpeggio is just a broken chord, once you know that, all chords can become arpeggios.

@@yourguitarsage Yes sir, that I understand. I suppose I'm asking why, when you reached the Cm position, you mentioned "We're just gonna skip that, it's not very useful." or some such sentence, as opposed to saying, "This would be hard as a chord, but we can arpeggiate it by doing THIS!", you know? And how it's the Cm and Dm shapes, combined, into one big shape. But dude, again, I'm just poking at semantics and asking because I noticed. This was an otherwise wonderful class thank you for all you do!

I need help, when I play chords my guitar buzzes. None of the videos that people have posted help. This guitar is pretty old but nobody has used it, it was just for decoration for about 3 or 5 years. I’m the first one to use it and after 2 days it started buzzing.

I’m guessing It could be bad neck tension adjustment or fret wires worn out at some places
