Glad you made your trip prior to another lockdown today, looks amazing trip rather envious. For the record I wear bin bag liners and wind round my pants strapping to my upper thigh works every time and never get wet feet on river crossing just above my knee anything much higher and faster I would not attempt, have fun soon?

If we had got our boots soaked they would have frozen solid. It was the better option.

Hello! Ha, thats a great idea. I will remember that. Part of it was we had not planned the route exactly as we didint know the snow condtions. So we sort of ended up there having gone a bit further than we thought.
