Just started watching, and wow, I already love the Egyptian folks - the waves, eye contact, big smiles, laughing, curiosity about meeting folks, the thumbs up from the little boys was just absolutely adorable. They seem so interactive in their culture, a bit more so than some of the other locations that were filmed, which were beautiful also for their gardens and architecture etc., but more standoffish. Looks like so much fun to be there in Cairo and meet folks and lots of make friends. Cheers from the US.

A good example is so wild at 20:08 to see an area that "was once right on the crossing point of major trade routes between North Africa and the Levant"! Around 30:42 Al-Muizz Street. Issue at 49:00! If I understand it right the people have their shops on the lower level and the living and storage quarters are in the upper levels? I am amazed at the history, the country's flair, and it also amazes me to see these merchants spending their entire lives in these trades. It looks like they have all of their family members involved and are there every single day to make a living. The amount of jewelry also amazes me.

A very interesting walk. A surprising delightful change. From the run of the mill Italian towns that look identical. With sidewalk cafes, red tiled roofs, basilicas, ponts and 7,898 churches, saints and basilicas. All fortified to the teeth. Yes. Indeed. The people of Cairo are friendly. With a goodwill demeanor. You can clearly see that. Exotic and nice. And Khan Khalili Bazaar seems to be teeming with locals. Going about their daily lives. A far cry from the befuddled gawking, Northern European tourists [ which, mostly, you will find in Istanbul, Morocco ]. Enjoyed this one.

There are lots of videos of people walking through the Louvre but most just run through and skip entire wings. I’m not saying to sit and look at each piece individually or anything (that would take a lifetime!) but I would love to maybe do one wing per video and spend at least a bit at the very famous pieces! Your incredible camera work paired with your fascinating captions would be absolutely extraordinary and could help bring so much art to the world! Just a suggestion! Keep up the amazing work!

As in any large bustling place when traveling it would be advised to secure valuables. All cultures have troublesome areas and in all countries things can happen. There were a lot of people that were friendly, but there are always people who have other thoughts. When one does not understand their culture simple misunderstandings can happen too. I liked it when the author of the video tried to figure out why the heck this one merchant kept throwing around the clothes. It is beautiful but you would have to also be on guard.
