Beautiful video, in a cultural, rugged way. The people are wary of your camera it seems. They have a hardness in their eyes, something like strength, survival, endurance. It’s beautiful to watch everyone and all the different stores.

The part that left me in awe in this video is that from 2:56 to 3:05, lost in a narrow bazaar's alley, someone was beautifully reciting the Qur'an(perhaps while on his working job).

Egypt is a fantastic place to visit but like a lot of middle eastern countries and mediterranean countries once you stop and look at the goods you are pounced upon! So, the only way is just slowly walk and view but if something you see you like like never accept the price offered but practice your bargaining skills!

I’ve been wanting to go to Cairo my whole life. I actually wanted to be an Egyptologist when I was in my 20s but after seeing this video, I don’t know if I wanna go there anymore. If I do go, it’s only gonna be because of the pyramids and I’m definitely going to stay away from the slums. Cairo is so nasty and dirty.

@@thefuzz1172 hi, Egyptian woman here. We don't like working and hassling and we much prefer staying at home and spending our husbands and fathers money. And they're only glad to provide. Not sure why so many foreigners make such a big fuss about it lol
@thefuzz1172
@thefuzz1172 3 ай бұрын
@@m.m.888.m Its not so much a big fuss, more of a question of culture. In the UK male and female are almost equal, and women fill the streets and shops as much as males. I watched the video from end to end and noticed very few females, nearly all males. I am sure it works for you, but I find it a little unhealthy 🙂
