It totally sounded beautiful. Just keep in mind that The Voice autotunes everything. It's why I stopped watching it so often. I can notice a difference and it just doesn't feel as genuine to me. That's just my opinion though. Edit: in case it was unclear- these singers/vocalists/artists are amazing!! I think that they are incredible and gifted. I'm just saying that shows like this autocorrect everything, even a slightly sharp or flat note. There are plenty of examples (I saw many on Reddit). You can even tell when watching the show if you know what to listen for. It doesn't take any talent away from the contestants. I personally prefer the occasional slightly sharp or flat note during a very emotional performance. I prefer it, actually. Hell, they even autotune Kelly Clarkson...so that's where I know that The Voice is in the wrong. Kelly is damn near perfect, but they still choose to tune her (or have her redo a line, etc.). It's just annoying to watch *for me*. Again, they are amazing!! I'm not disagreeing with that. The Voice is in the wrong in my opinion. I hope that makes sense. No need to get your pitchforks out lol

Also, this is his last seasons, just because he could he wouldn’t critique just to be or horrible I don’t think. We are not hearing this live let’s remember and the judges and audience there it. I think Cait’s a beast and ate it. However, I was more moved by Kala! She’s such a storyteller and that’s usually what I lean to. Stellar vocals and vocals that hit me in the heart. They both do it for me, but Kala’s choices elevate her just a bit for me. I’d still buy both albums though.

Cait's performance was perfection and her range is incredible. Kala's performance on the other hand brought tears to my eyes because I've never heard a rendition of Iris being performed like that and I could feel all of her emotion seeping through. She has incredible control over her voice and like the judges have said, she could definitely make it to the finale. I hope both of them get to stay in the competition, they deserve it.

They both are among my favourites in the competition, and they both continued to show me why. Not everyone can pull off a Whitney song, but Cait sounded so good, and was especially flourishing during that second half of the performance. On the other end, Kala really brought the emotion to her song, you could see she was really just getting lost in the performance, and she sounded phenomenal the entire time. Both just really great performances at the end of the day.

Chance and Kelly’s reactions during Cait’s performance were really cool to see. I felt the same way! What she did was incredible! I like Kala a lot and think she is very talented, just not on the same level as Cait. I hope Niall recognized that too and was just defending Kala because she was originally on his team and he likes her so much. But maybe he and Blake are just picking the style they like more, which would be a shame. They all have their biases.

The drama of this knockout round was movie worthy. In comes comes Cait. Polished, professional, she delivers this perfect pop diva performance with every hand gesture and head movement perfectly choreographed. And then enters Kayla who sings her heart out in maybe the perfect competition show song. Singing for her life, her song is a heart rending plea. She isn't ready to go home, she just wants us to know who she is, that she wants this moment to last a tiny bit longer. Beautiful.

Two people who could potentially win the season. They both sounded like studio recordings. For me, Kala’s choices are just so pro. She again, just navigates through all her different registers and colors so effortlessly! The way she tells a story is what move me the most! Every choice just gives me complete chills and the way she shaped her verses were crazy. She just knows how to pace a song so perfectly and hit us with big notes at the right time when the emotion allows it.

That means the audio had to be done during post-prod which most singing reality shows do, actually. So that’s why we heard like nothing was wrong. But Blake was there, LIVE. He heard it as it was. If you noticed, the audience and Chance’s reaction was even louder than her voice when she was singing. Video Editors did that.

Wait, Cait absolutely shattered that song. What's Blake and Nial saying? How do you downplay so much awesomeness. Kala did great. In her case, the nerves got the better of her at the beginning. After that, it was a battle for survival, and she killed it. Cait was the clear winner for me. That was a huge song tackle and she left no crumbs
