She would always score 20 plus points in a game, if like today , the coach stand back and let her do her thing. 22 points, 6 assists and 8 rebounds is great for a rookie. And as for the loses, that is the coaches problem to fix. She is not the team. And her team mates have way more turnovers than she does and have been professionals longer than her. That is also the coach's job to fix, not hers.

CC is not a bust. They need a starting five with defined roles. CC is the point guard. Boston is the center. Kelsey Mitchell shooting guard. Samuelson and Nalyssa Smith are the forwards. These five must train and develop into a cohesive core group. The Fever have players that were drafted from the same basket as every other team in the league. They have the skills to get to the playoffs this year.

She clearly is different from all other teammates. Wheeler is faster then Clark but plays way out of control, Mitchell is quick but not fluid motioned like Clark. Clark has that quick n fast speed but controlled, her turnovers are more of her teammates not handling the passes.

First, I am a big Caitlin Clark fan. I note she often starts in a corner of the arc instead of getting more involved in the middle including the paint. I feel she is afraid of contact in the paint which explains why she very rarely drives for floaters or layups. She also does not shoot to the right and I do not see fall-away shots. In other words, she is far too predictable in seeking 3 point shots and is pressing. She will not be good on the pro level until she becomes more versatile and can handle the physicality. She needs to vary her game, be unpredictable and fearless.
