Caitlin Clark started the first three quarters in Sunday's game against the Minnesota Lynx and really struggled for the first three quarters. Clark scored 10 of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Indiana Fever to an 81-74 win over the Lynx. Indiana outscored Minnesota 28-14 in the fourth, with Clark putting on a stellar offensive display to lead the charge.

I feel like when coach Sides said after the first preseason game that Caitlin needed to shoot deep two's and had bad habits that some of the fan base got really ugly. They thought that Sides wants her to not play her usual game. So the fans watched intensely for that. And her being open and players on her team freezing her out and Sides keeps telling the fans we are playing through the post. All this made the fan base even nastier. All the fans wanted was a fair shot to see a similar game as what they feel in love with in college. But all that lead to the league, the media and even sometimes I think Sides and the team holding that against Caitlin. Even the Olympic committee and coach Reeves is holding all that against Caitlin. Several players have even said we don't want the new fans. Go watch golf. It's crazy the hate from the old fans towards the new. These 2 and 3 million veiwership rating for TV games could have been the same as the final four for college if the league had handled this better. The oĺd fans want a brutal game the new fans want a fast paced more skilled game. But what do I know and I don't think most in the league even cares about growth. Seems pride of of getting the whole world to say well we have always been great is more important than moving the game to the future.

Mike, it is time to bring up the subject of player trades. Since the Fever organization will not remove the Coach and the GM the next best option if Caitlin is agreeable is to trade her. At least this might keep her in the US. I would hate to see her go to Europe.
