If you look at her first games this year and compare them to now, you can see how her teammates have learned to play hard and run fast because Caitlin is watching everything and if they get open she will throw them a dime for a layup. To say they were "peaking" is an insult to their evolution. They are playing like they WILL win not just might win.

And still a dozen games remaining. She didn't break the record, she humiliated it. Crushing records in WNBA just like she did in college. The only way the spoiled brats of the WNBA are going to stop her is to injure her. Otherwise she's going to crush a bunch of records such that nobody will ever break them. And I never, well almost never, say that because never is a long time. This assists record when the season is done will stand for the remainder of league history. She's that good. I laugh watching her it's so good.

The 1st and 4th quarters were the best, especially the 4th quarter. All they had to do was get it to Lexie Hull behind the arc, and she kept draining 3's. I think she only missed one. Caitlin's only bad moment was her temper when she got mad at herself and slapped the pad on the stanchion. When she asked the ref why it was a T, he told her that it was bad respect for the game. Definitely changing for the better. The impact of CC is an upset to those who thought they knew how to play. If your not going to play like her, you will be beaten. Maybe not all the time but most of the time. The Fever have embraced the way she plays and look at the results. She really is amazing and her team mates are becoming more amazing all the time. When you add a catalyst that mixes well, then the product is very durable and superior. Go Fever!!!

I was a big Lakers fan for years, going back to Show Time with Pat Riley as coach and Magic, Kareem, Nixon, AC Green, when they played as a team, as a unit. Than came Shaq O’Neil and Koby Brian and they had too much ego to play as a team and I quit following NBA. But this girl Clark, talk about being a team player, she is a refreshing sight to see on the court, great to see her include her team, after all, one person alone can’t win games. Go Beavers!!!

I am getting similar vibes to Larry Bird's first season with the Celtics where he took a team that was near the bottom of the league the previous year with a 29-53 record to the playoffs with a 61-21 record. It took the Fever a bit longer to mesh together but the way they played the last two games they looked like the better team in both games.

If she stays healthy, we will see much more of her. We already saw massive improvement during her first season in the WNBA, and I'm confident there is a lot more to come.
