Im LSU fan, but could not pull for my Tigers. Everyone says its due to race. Not at all. If Iowa and Caitlin Clark played in to the persona that LSU did i would have picked another team. Regardless of color, i personally do not like the thuggish attitude of LSU. Never have in the past either. If it qas an all black iowa team vs an all black lau team i would have pulled for the team that still seem like ladies over the team that thinks they are hard. I'm happy for the NCAAW Basketball! and I believe Caitlin viewership will carry over to the WNBA...and I believe WCB has the talent-with the freshman and sophomores-to take the baton from Caitlin Clark and maintain the momentum to continue to grow WCB! HOWEVER, having served in the US Air Force for more than 24 1/2 years... The NCAAW Basketball brain trust...needs to make sure that all teams are on the floor to show respect for our National Anthem! It’s just a respectfully thing to show a little respect to the men and women that gave their life for this country...If they don't want to stand for the National Anthem...then they shouldn't be allowed to represent the US in the Olympics! Now back to the growth of WCB and the WNBA...I can't wait for the upcoming Final 4 matches and the championship game...the viewership number should be "off-the-charts!" Whether Caitlin Clark and Iowa win another game-she has cemented herself as must watch TV! And one of the greatest basketball players ever. Just like Larry Bird didn't have to win a title at Indiana State to be considered one of the greatest basketball players ever...neither does Caitlin. Because she more than pass the eye-test for anyone who can unbiasedly judge basketball talent and basketball IQ after her performance all year; and reinforced after her dominance in beating LSU. Go NCAAW Basketball and the WNBA... .

No one should be surprised about that. In LSU championship win last season she did the same thing. Instead of enjoying the accomplishment her team had done and celebrating with her team mates and fans she chose to turn into a soap box about race etc. Don't forget too thst their lame coach allowed the team to deny the president wife to come in the locker room to wish them luck. The team especially Angel just showed no class or sportsmanship. So again this year she has to play victim again. I just wait until Catlin goes as #1 pick and have the better WMBA career.
