FUN FACT: Caitlin Clark's most impactful NIL deal doesn't pay her anything at all. When NIL passed in 2021, the Coralville Community Food Pantry immediately turned to the Iowa basketball star for help. They offered to pay her for her promotion, but Clark insisted that she work for free (Clark insisted she wanted to help for free, and last year, it was her idea to hold an in-person donation drive). Last year during March Madness, she helped raise $23,000 and this year, raised $16,000 in a week. Caitlin holds special events for this charity and anybody who brings a personal care item, such as hygiene products (normal or feminine), canned goods or donates $22.00 in cash got to meet Clark and take a picture with her and an autograph.

@@andrew4825 Lol that’s just not true. Obviously the games are sold out and way more expensive because of her but iowa and iowa state both are in top attendance in the country with UConn and South Carolina.
@Raiderdre42010 ай бұрын
@@andrew4825 well I mean just look at the history of WNBA attendance, not exactly the greatest numbers.

She is coming to the fever. Caitlin with last years number pick Aliyah Boston, indy will raise more banners. She is a Midwest girl, she could have gone to any of the elite women's program and she made the choice to stay in Iowa. Indy fits perfectly for who she is, and we will gladly welcome all the Iowa fans to the Hoosier state.
@LarryLGreve10 ай бұрын
Why would she leave college early, she will make 2 or 3 million playing for Iowa, I think top player in wnba only makes around 250000 a year salary, so why not stay one more year. I think she may leave if they win the tournament this year. What do you guys think?
@youtube623810 ай бұрын
She’s leaving 💯 % Her bf is an assistant for the Pacers. She’s going to still have deals with Nike, Gatorade State Farm etc. her WNBA contract will be 74,000 for a rookie. That money won’t matter to what she makes in endorsements.
@donaldsquires267410 ай бұрын
This is a big hype train for sure. She needs to win a Title before you start comparing her. She didn't win in highschool and she hasn't won in college up to this point. She proved she can shoot but she has not proven to win the games that really matter. Period!

Imagine what the viewership would have been had they aired this game on a major channel?

1 NBA, 2 NCAA mens, 3 boys high School basketball,4 wnba, 5 NCAA woman's. Wtf are we really talking about?

Was reading about the backgrounds of clark, luka doncic and kelsey plum. Extremely sports heavy families from early age. Which of course explains a lot, thats an undeniable advantage.

That advantage is called hard work.

Right on. That logo 3 for the record, with the world's eyes on her, and she goes to the logo for a shot, that's like Babe Ruth pointing his bat to center field.

It's like watching HS Freshman males. No dunking, scramble plays, long shots and layups. It's just not my cup of tea... Maybe women should learn to love teams coming together to achieve a common goal. Not watch women bicker like all the shows they love. Just a simple thought 👍🤷♂️🤘

First time Ive watched your show and really enjoyed it. I think she is done after this year specifically because she can go Proi n Indy which is still Midwest and closer to home. You will have a huge number of IA supporters who will follow her to Indy.

Give the lady her shine im all for it she deserves it and the more eyes that get put on this girl the more money the other wnba players can make and the less we hear of that bs how female athletes dont make as much as the men you need viewers and shes sure bringing them much respect we really need more ladies like this showing up in all female sports someone to bring the eyes in then these girls can make more money everywhere and end that dogshit narrative of female athletes being underpaid
