CC is losing millions by wearing these outfits. Vogue reported that her draft dress created $580,000 in Media Impact Value, more than any athlete. Prada is losing a half million with these missed opportunities. If Caitlin wants to explode the popularity of the WNBA, she could convince Prada to dress her and her teammates for every home game. They do a runway show into the building. Prada could pay for the Fever to use signage and backdrops. Then take a team picture in front of the name Prada. Also they could greet the fans in the seats dressed like that. The players would also earn money for modeling for Prada. It would force TMZ and all those celebrity shows to send someone to cover it. First, WNBA/NBA players have been imitating runway walks into stadiums sometimes getting monies from the designer. Second, my friend reminded me that the Thunder version of Westbrook but not Durant was the worst culprit. An organized runway event would cut down the amateurish look most players have. Prada would provide photographers and videographers, makeup artists and choreographers. Then these ladies would have a portfolio and because of their height they would have an advantage in the modeling world. They could easily supplement their income. It would also help secure endorsements. Next Caitlin convinces Prada to design a jersey for the last home game for Nike to make. Nike makes the official jersey. Prada had a collaboration with Adidas. Contracts among Prada, Nike, WNBA, Fever, players, etc. have to be worked. The Indiana Fever sells those jerseys for charity and the charity is the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital right next to its football stadium. Those sales would be ridiculous. Not Kardashian ridiculous. Taylor Swift ridiculous! The WNBA has a three week Olympic break. If Caitlin is not on team USA, she should model Prada in Paris and enjoy her vacation with her teammates on Prada’s dime. You should frame these sloppy displays of outfits thrown together as missed opportunities for these ladies and for Prada.
