I agree 100%. She has no problems letting her teammates shine and that is the mark of a true champion. She is also a great role model for kids, something this world needs a lot more of. What I see is history repeating itself. MJ came into the league with a shoe deal before his first pro game. He brought eyes to the league that never watched before. He had charisma that others didn’t have. Though he was a great basketball player, it was more than that. Every kid wanted to be like Mike. Because he had that special something too few people have. Caitlin has that same feeling emanating from her. It’s not just basketball, it’s more than that again. I think that within the next few years, the WNBA will be the most watched sport in America. There is a lot of young talent coming in the next few years. If the women that are there today want to be part of this growing energy, what they helped build, then now’s their time. If they squander this opportunity, the new young talent will still grow the game. But what they’ve done for the game so far will be forgotten. Last chance!
