The NBA has graciously subsidized the WNBA to the tune of TENS of millions of dollars just so they can pay the arena rental fees and coaches. Now, with Caitlyn playing, it's a sell out crowd every game, EVERY arena in which she plays. I've watched CC for years.... I've watched five WNBA games to watch CC... the level of play in the WNBA is AWEFUL. Pathetic. Poor defense, poor shooting, poor playmaking and aweful coaching. A good Jr. High boys team would slaughter the WNBA champs!

I don't think so. I started following the Wnba due to Clark and Reese in college.. I was a NBA, NFL and MLB type of guy.. watching the game..I have learned more about other players in the league.. like the Aces for example and truth be told I actually enjoy the Wnba more so than NBA..not as many 3s chucked up and very little ISo ball.. however we have to remember CC appeals to the majority.. due to her looking like them & she's safe.. and that's normal.. we gravitate towards what's familiar.. but no if Clark was black she won't have as MUCH appeal.. BUT on the flip side.. if Reese was white and carried herself the exact same way she does... She won't have the appeal Clark has either.. Clark is "safe".. someone you would want your daughter to become or emulate... The league may have had that prior.. but they were marketed correctly.. the league did come off kinda " Studdly" respectfully and that's a turn off to middle America.. whom sponsors try to capture.
